Hello everyone,
Before starting let me introduce myself, my name is DREAMEND (Alias: CATHERINE/CHARLOTTE) and I been into Pop'n Music since 2011 thanks to one of my friends. I been collecting Pop'n Music games from PS1, PS2, and PSP which I am getting 3 more games this month (Pop'n Music 8, 9, and Best hits).
I been thinking for a while that I wanted to make a controller which I did research it but most of them are down and not available anymore. I only found like two of them which it's http://popn.ecxol.net/ and http://www.shapermc.com/popn/popnasc.html.
Both of them has so many information that I needed but not enough to know how to do it right.
The only problems I'm having is the wiring part and the "pattern" of the buttons like this image for example.
If I ever to do it that way, how would it work to move left and right so that I can go to option and change the key config (I was playing Pop'n Music 12 at the main menu which Up wouldn't work to go that way).
For those who do have the Pop'n Music Arcade Controller or have the knowledge about the ASC Controller, I hope you don't mind giving me an advice what should I do.

But uhh... For starters, I know you are new, but there's already a Bemani sub-forum.

I did checked there but I thought it was bad idea to make a thread there which I thought it was suppose to be for Bemani games in general instead of DIY thing.
If not, my mistake~ ^^;;

You may have a point there, but the same time it still felt like a Bemani discussion. Anyway sorry if I go off-topic. Good luck! (I'll be there at Skype like always. ;)

It's alright which I really appreciate your help Timer Rabbit. I'll be on skype as well but waiting for people to respond too~
