Dance of Death. In case you're wondering.

Here it is, the song that is infamous because of its double scroll speed! This is the first song that popped up in my head. I still can't beat the HD pattern T_T

If you take a look at the BPM chart on the bottom of the picture, you'll see 4 rows. The top row, row 1, is the BPM chart for and . Continue with the other three rows. There are at least 4 BPM changes in every difficulty.

and are in double speed. *evil laugh* However, if you're irritated by it, delete the SSC file. All the charts will then be scrolling like , and both and will drop a foot rating.

I noticed several of the charts had double-steps, which is when the chart requires you to hit two different consecutive arrows with the same foot. Like ←↓↑←→ (the up and second left arrow are hit with the same foot). While double-steps can be used in a chart well, if you use them too much in a chart, it can make the steps awkward.

Steps are slightly early. Also, you followed the melody exactly, which isn’t a good thing. It made the chart seem repetitive. Instead, try to mix it up by following the drums in some parts, or by making your own rhythm to go with the song. However, besides that, the steps were good.

There were a few other charts that were off-sync. Make sure you use Calibrate Audio Sync to sync StepMania before you sync your chart. Anyway, good round, it was nice to see different video game music get stepped!

Those might not be doublesteps. You might just be expected to hit that left arrow with your right foot and the right arrow with your left foot. That way you're not facing 100% away from the screen and you can still see it.

I know what you mean. There were many charts I noticed that did have crossover steps like that. But, there were also some that didn't work out like that, and if you alternated feet, you'd end up facing the wrong way entirely.
