I don't believe XG2 was eAmuse because that was the same time as V8 and that doesn't need it either.

Yeah I am under the suspicion this may not be about expanding e-Amusement services in full to places outside of Asia but just giving "web support" to existing e-Amusement countries in Asia. Its kinda like how the LittleBigPlanet series of PlayStation games work with its community site http://LBP.me. However I am crossing fingers and sent an e-mail to a contact to see if by some rare chance, Konami has a booth set up at this year's AAMA Amusement Expo in Vegas in the coming weeks. If it is their intention to get back into the U.S. arcade scene it will start there (or IAAPA in November).

thing is though when a japanese company says "global" they could mean anything from expanding over to eastern asian countries/korea to EU/US.
it's right to remain skeptical, a week of waiting should be fun

Even though I already live half an hour from a Round1, this would be absolutely great if it really means the us/eu gets e-Amuse. Fingers crossed.

I'm also riding the "believe it when I see it" train, but man, I really, really want to believe.
Same here. Still hyped though.

Updated OP with proper translation.
I do believe e-amusement is available in China, South Korea, Phillipines, Singapore, and Taiwan. Correct me if I am wrong.

Here's the official countries with e-amusement.
Japan
South Korea
Singapore
Taiwan
Hong Kong
Macau
New countries:
Malaysia(jubeat and Dance Evo only)
Thailand(jubeat only)
Really hoping Philippines, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand can join the official list.

well the point of my post is that if e-amusement does indeed expand to North, South America, and Europe, They should cover up majority of the countries in Asia Pacific first.
At this moment in time, it's just disappointing that Konami can't even provide e-amusement to all countries within Asia Pacific.
but if the reason for not getting e-amuse is if the arcade operator is stingy. then ouch.

If this is for real, then:
On a side note though, I hope it comes to the Philippines because we are seriously lagging behind when it comes to BEMANI. (DDR SuperNOVA 2, GF & DM V8, anyone?)

So I thought I was sad about missing this amazing opportunity to play DDR 2014. (which IMHO I thought was just going to be alright) with PW going down. I guess with this news, second chance here we go!

Looks pretty legitimate to me.
If it is, then everyone that said "fuck you konami" yesterday can go fuck themselves.

Can I change it to "thank you konami"?

Hate to ruin the mood - but from what I can gather: It's simply going to be a translated site where US players can register for a KONAMI ID to manage their eAMUSEMENT settings. Most likely just for the Round1 locations and nothing more.
There is nothing suggesting that the eAMUSEMENT service itself is expanding to North America or Europe.
