It's kinda hard for them to lose money if they're not even going to try to gain from it.

That aside, as sad as I am to see PW go, I'm still glad that I was able to enjoy it while it lasted (even if it was only twice). I agree with pretty much everyone else in saying that the only realistic thing we can do at this point is to hope that KONAMI magically gets eAMUSE where PW was before (which won't happen).

I don't think King_Mew was being serious in his post, he was satirizing what coffee was basically throwing a fit about.

Me trying to look at this in a different lens, you do have a valid point.

I have never had the luxury of even coming close to this experience with Programmed World and yet, I could say the people that organized it did rather well to support the non-Japan Bemani players, even if essentially they were loopholing the legal system to the best degree they could. I guess in the end, it still comes back to attacking the illegal distribution of arcade cabinets, but it still doesn't detract from the scummy behavior of Konami, themselves.

A part of me wants to hope that Konami would look at this like they did before with DDR 1st Mix - 8th Mix, meaning they would actually make a valid effort to localize a DDR game here, but I don't feel so hopeful this time around.

I guess with all the anger right now, I feel that I to side with TBLKitten and at least give thanks to the people that made Programmed World happen. Yeah, it sucks and all that this happened, but I can at least cling to that hope that Bemani fans alike will continue to fan the flame and support each other like this, even when Konami fails entirely...~

Does this mean more people will play LR2/Stepmania now? I could live with this.
