The DDR X3 page for simfiles has a pack with background videos, most of them being revivals. However, I can't find the background videos of the 1st and 2nd Mix Konami Originals + Hero in the pack. It only has the ones that were revived on that mix.
I'm looking for background videos of the ff. songs, 4:3 ratio preferably.

If you are using SM5 and in widescreen mode, go to Preference.ini and update this:
BackgroundFitMode=FitInsideAvoidPillar
BackgroundFitMode=FitInsideAvoidPillar

I'm using SM AMX. But then again, after a light bulb moment, I got the (almost) right resolution for the videos. Thanks though. (I can't use SM5 because my laptop can't handle it)

Try StepMania-SSE2.exe instead of StepMania.exe for SM5. I think it's optimized for slower computers.

There's a pack of 4:3 videos from X3 on its page. If you want to save a bit on space as opposed to using crops of the 16:9 download, Get it here!

Those packs lack the background videos I mentioned.
Oh and a bit off topic. In most mixes past DDRMAX2 USA and DDR Party Collection, there are songs with background videos, negating any dancing characters. Is there a way to implement that in Stepmania? I wouldn't be surprised if it's impossible though.

I don't think there's a way to do that in SM AMX, but the DDR 2013 theme for SM5 does something like that.Oh and a bit off topic.
