[Help] Editing script so the BG videos don't stretch

I have a little knowledge of how to edit the script, but I'm trying to make it so the BG video doesn't stretch to fit the screen (I'm inserting pop'n chara dancing animations as BG videos, and I want them not to be warped). How would I go about doing this?

It is a setting within the game itself. You can maintain the original shape of the video with a certain setting. I don't know the dimensions of your background video, but if it's a 16:9 and you set it to 'fit', I'm sure your video won't look warped anymore.

I'm trying to set this as the BG animation. I've converted it to AVI form. There are certain BG animations that I already have that I want to be stretched, like old beatmania IIDX backgrounds.





From what I've understood, there is no way to keep one file in its original shape without changing others?

Oh, I see. What I would have done (before converting it to a .avi file) is, I would have made a black background with a 16:9 ratio with your animation in the center. Since it's a gif image, you'd have to re-animate your image frame by frame. Convert that to a .avi file once more, and you're good.
