That's a fair question, HealingDMax300. GitHub can be a little confusing to navigate at first.
It may be easier to download from stepmania.com here: http://www.stepmania.com/download/
If you have any additional questions, just ask.

On Windows, the game (the program, or, the executable) can be found in the Program directory.
Also, I'm unable to reproduce the issue kenny is reporting in 5.0.9 for Windows XP using the default and home themes.

Yes, it said so in the log content you posted.
Have you tried uninstalling SM5.0.9 and reinstalling it? If not, you should try that first.
If that doesn't work, try downloading SM5.0.8 from GitHub and seeing if that is any different for you.

You've already uninstalled 5.0.9, reinstalled it, found that it didn't work, downloaded 5.0.8, tried that, found that didn't work, and still had time to report back here? That's pretty impressive turnaround.
I guess I'm out of ideas.

Well, I don't have anyone around to make a windows build, so I can't even do something like put in some code to make it print lots of debugging info up to the moment of crashing.
I don't have anything left to suggest besides editing Preferences.ini and Keymaps.ini by hand as needed, and living without the Song Options screen. (strange that the Player Options screen doesn't crash too, maybe some hint there?)

I'm missing MSVCR120.dll. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling three times as it recommends but it's not working.

I linked to the VC++ Redist that you need for MSVCR120.dll on the previous page.

@kenny: If you get the chance, would you be able to install this and report back on if it fixes the issue you were having with 5.0.9?

If it works, I will add it to the FAQ on stepmania.com

I have this troubles:
1. I've used a custom branch to show the special ending screen:
But I could get the special ending if I fail a song or course.
2. I'm creating 2 endless courses a nonstop and an oni courses, I've added the #REPEAT:YES; parameter, but they inly play the amount of songs in the course and finish, this is the correct mode to make an endless course?
Thanks for reading
