I am reaching out to anyone living in Houston Tx that is looking for a decent DDR Machine. Zuma Fun Center South West Houston is looking to buy new games and doesn't know what games to buy. I am in need of Support to form a DDR Fan group in that area to help Zuma to start forming Music Games from everything to the Latest Dance Dance Revolution 2014 Machine to Beat Mania to DJ MAX, Bereave, and or any kind of other music games we can Think of.

The Most everyone want's is a New Dance Dance Revolution 2014 Arcade Machine and if we can get a group forming we must let the Game Manager who buys the game to let them know that we want a new machine and we want to use the DDR SuperNova Machine towards a new DDR Cabinet with Decent Pads that will last for at least 5 years with no repairing.

Please for All Houston DDR Fans help support Zuma Fun Center Houston South West go up there and let them know that you are here to support a new Dance Dance Revolution 2014 Arcade machine. It will make them and us happy.

Thanks you for your Support BeginnerLightStandardHeavyChallenge

I have an arcade machine that I need to find an owner for.

It's a "StepMania Arcade" machine, built by a friend in Kentucky, pads are Omega ITGX, monitor is 40" LED, speakers are super loud. Any version of StepMania can be installed it's all open source. It's 80% complete, the coin slot can be swapped to accept any token. I'm pretty sure DDR 2014 could be installed on it if someone wants to do that. It could be finished in a month if someone is ready to buy it.

"Yo dawg, I heard you like DDR..."
Has anyone tried to build a custom cabinet for DDR 2014 before?

It's not about the cabinet, it's about the hardware...in which you need to have legit hardware or you will not be able to run the game.

I know you need legit hardware. I was referring to the one who offered their custom cabinet to put it in. I was wondering if it was possible to put the actual legit hardware in a custom cabinet.

It probably is, I mean, I saw King of Fighters Neo-Wave in a Tekken Tag tournament cabinet, so it could be possible.

do you guys honestly think some random ass arcade in texas is able to afford an IIDX machine or a DDR 2014 kit

no offense, they have zero resources and zero information on how to get any of these games

it's literally beating a dead horse at this point

Why do we keep meeting at the worst times? Also, maybe if we had help, to help them get the game, it could happen.

There should be a few people who live in Texas (Not necessarily Houston) that may have the resources to get a machine/kit.

But don't hold your breath on that info, I have friends in Florida who got a DDR 2013 kit and installed it on one of their DDR machines yet it probably took them YEARS to find a capable one, plus to install it and set up the network and stuff, you'd be hard pressed to easily find someone here/another forum/just within the community that has connections to that.

It's odd though, the places most likely that have these games seem to be places that already have an established BEMANI community. Time will tell I guess, and I both agree and disagree with what TBL says. This arcade (which I've heard has a history for closures) seems to be starting up, so it DEFINITELY is a stupid decision to buy a DDR 2014 machine and have it imported, yet if the owner/manager had the cash to do it (ex. Nanuet Arcade which was a random ass arcade that opened up not too long ago and now has/is getting a DDR 2014 + a SDVX III cab), then I see no issues there.

Since this is Zuma, it's a franchising company but privately owned (so far as I can see) and whoever is running it just needs a really good convincing to get the machine. But that would mean it will have to get as big support as what League of Legends and/or Call of Duty has currently, for a dance game in this day and age? That's just unfeasible.

Then again, there is always Round 1, and the more you support Round 1, the more locations will start popping up on the map Tongue

1 The thing is, no one is willing to help out, they haven't come forward about information related to a DDR 2014 kit,
2 Again, if they came forward this wouldn't be a problem setting up the stuff and finding the kit.
3 Only the north west one has closed, and no, it's not starting up, they just need new games.
4 We do have Houston DDR players, their is an official forum for that, check it out here,: http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewthread.php?threadid=4497 and yes they do need convincing.
5 I want to support Round 1, the problem is, their isn't one near me, if their was, I would go every chance I got.
