SM5 beat mode?

How am I supposed to play BMS files with StepMania? There's only four game modes, Dance, Pump, kb7, and lights. I'm on SM5 beta 4a.

Also, I have noteskins for Beat, Popn and Techno

Afaik, SM5 has already beat noteskins included.

I know it's possible, but I only see four game modes in the gamemode selector. What do I do?

Maybe your bms files aren't accepted, perhaps...?

Turn autogen on and see if you can play anything with that.

The bms files work fine in LR2 and kb7 mode with autogen on, but I can't pick the beat mode.

that's because for make a gametype playable you need the corresponding noteskins installed

When I start making a note on beats. I saw a strangy thing when I freak! The keys and the scratchthekey buttons all are X

not sure about you but this sounds like good enough english to me.

in any case, you need a noteskin for the notes to show up correctly. The only one I know of was included with tony's DJ TROOPERS theme; there might be others but I don't know them offhand.

Do you have "Solo Singles" or whatever turned on?

Nope. I use this option: Speed:X1, Turn:Mirror, Scroll:Reverse.

Check for Center 1 Player in the options menu. It may be turned on, or it may just be Tony Toonami's theme acting funny.

I turned off. It stills like that. I dont know how to solve.

Anybody can help me????
