ZIv Simfile Shuffle 2014 -- THANK YOU FOR PLAYING

2 days left... So much to do...



Please excuse me guys, this is the first time I've actually made a simfile since 2013... ^.^; I am going to finish this today, I already have some ideas on what the graphics might be.

That jump (d+r) then a D U R D doesn't look good. Double stepping is happening unless the d+r jump is after a cross over and we face that way and can play the D U R D part fine.

I fixed that part and made the crazy 16th stream a little less exhaustive. I actually realized I wasn't entirely taking note of the facing, and I am trying to even it out, smooth translations with 4th/8ths with each chunk of a 5-step-long stream with 2 arrows at a time.

Oh wow, this looks even harder than CLOUDIO's Poochie o.o

I'll probably die of exhaustion but I'm looking forward to it. It reminds me of a sightly slower 888 so I really want to see where this goes ^^

Me, too. But I have to step ra'am, which is at 222 bpm. And the Challenge chart is gonna be at least an 18 on the X scale... and I have to step it.

I know what you mean. I wanted to step ra'am once but the song gave me only fast and hard patterns as ideas and hard charts are too painful for me so I decided to not kill myself and leave it here. Good luck on making it

If it's the chart for the hardest difficulty, make the steps follow the music. If the sound warrants crazy 16th stream, step crazy 16th stream. Don't simplify the steps only for the sake of making it easier

That part is during that one hyper part before the first lyrics, around 10 seconds in. With that massive synth.

Anyway, by simplifying, I mean the arrows weren't really in a pattern that'd be fair for people to actually play, and I wanted to make it more streamlined. I'm taking into the account of the direction you're facing.



I think I accidentally made a boss song chart. And I'm only 1/3rd of the way in.

(You think that maxed out Voltage meter has something to do with it?)

How the predicted meter is already at 8 even if just 50 seconds have passed?! I never reach that when I try to make boss songs

Thats probably because you put a note at the very end of the song so you can hear the whole song. I do that, and because the Stream is so low, it changes the predicted meter.

Maybe it has to do with how hyper the song is, with 16ths at 185 BPM.

Crap, I have to hurry. I have 90% of Heavy (10% to go(, 20% of Light to go, and nothing on Standard.

I'm gonna stay up overnight making sure I finish this...

I'm pretty sure you're going to finish this on time. If you focus on the steps they will take about a hour or two and the graphics don't take so long (unless they are complex). If I am right it's currently 1 pm if you live in Florida or even less if you're californian or something and since the deadline is at about 12am of the following day you don't have to worry to stay overnight.

It's 11:42 where I live.

I've finished my Heavy chart, which is predicted to be 9.54, rounded to 10.

My Light chart is a little....boring...somehow. I'm pretty sure people won't mind, though, because my Heavy chart is monstrously complex and might be one of the most best I've ever done.

The predicted meter can be seriously bullshit though, I wouldn't recommend using it. But hey, difficulties are (mostly) subjective
You probably don't need to worry about the light chart being boring, most charts in that difficulty range can only be made fun up to a certain limit. If it's on beat and not just randomly scattered arrows, I'm sure anyone who plays at that difficulty will be content <:
