An arcade in WA, namely ACME Bowl in Tukwila WA has just aquired a bemani PC.

It is running X3 right now but it is soon going to be paired with a card reader so that it can run E-Amusement and DDR 2014. Just thought I might brag since I live near here and can try it out. Take that Japan!

Don't be so hasty now, eventually most arcades will get the update/version, 2013 is the new 'Extreme' era for the American DDR scene.Also last quote is pretty kek. I'm sure they're going to hate not being able to play songs they can already play and then some while we are still an update below them.

ACME has X3 now? I really need to get myself up there! I'm already way behind the times, having not been there since before ITG2 was upgraded/modded with all the extra content, but geez, I can't miss X3 too! Thanks for the info!
Also, I need to pay attention to PNW Bemani more and get back into the community...

Really, the comparison of having 2014 as common as Extreme was back in the day is misleading. There really aren't that many machines in the US running it. Even on PW it will only run on real Bemani PC hardware.

To a certain extent, it is. Keep in mind that in order for arcades to have DDR 2013/4 available (and therefore completely functional), they'd need to somehow obtain e-amuse readers for the machine, and also get connected to PW (which I assume can just be done by the admin/person who runs PW from his house/evil lair of PW). I was thinking that newer mixes only run off of BemaniPC, sorry if my comment seemed stupid
