POKKÉN TOURNAMENT

Was this confirmed by them that this was gonna be ported to Wii U? If so I'm so hype for this!

They didn't confirm WiiU, only arcades. However, I think that it will be ported sometime after release.

I'm not even accepting option that it will be arcade only. Namco will release console version somewhere in 2016 probably. 3DS and WiiU versions for sure - other consoles - don't think so.

Namco have become very good at making arcade games with persistent and social elements. Midnight Club and Mario Kart have never been ported to home consoles, and that's always been a huge factor in their popularity and longevity. If they want to make this into a social arcade experience, then I doubt it'll ever get a port.

Guess what - that's exactly what it is. Bandai Namco Games is responsible for Tekken series. They wanted to create a Tekken in Pokemon universe.

I'm also guessing that we will see some guest appearances from Tekken - maybe Kuma/Panda or Roger/Alex? I think they would fit in just right.

Guessing if there's gonna be a guest character, it's going to be Heihachi, no matter how unfitting he is for the game.

Anyway, if I remember correctly when serebii.net showed an early image of this game (obviously way before this was known as POKKEN TOURNAMENT), Blaziken will be in this. It was shown with Lucario at the time.
