Hey everyone,
I have Sillybear's DDR X2 CS Theme for StepMania 3.9, and I saw the discussion thread where people were complaining of a bug where the artist line is just a mess during Course gameplay.

I saw that people have posted a fix for the problem, and I give props to them for that, but...there is an easier solution! No patches, just a bit of copying and other simple stuff!
Solution:
1. Run Enable_Artist (found inside the theme folder). This will change the file to Disable_Artist.

2. Copy this into the metrics file (under the section [ScreenGameplay]) in the theme folder:
ArtistOffCommand=
ArtistOnCommand=horizalign,left;zoomx,0.75;zoomy,0.6;maxwidth,304
ArtistX=205
ArtistY=448

3. In the Fonts folder, make a copy of ScreenGameplay song title.redir and rename it ScrerenGameplay artist.redir

4. Here's the important step: go to the Artist folder in ScreenGameplay overlay (under BGAnimations).

5. Open the BGAnimation file, and clear all the code you see. Don't outright delete the file, just remove the code
Artist should show up correctly in gameplay now, it should look something like this:
