[SM5] BG Videos of DDR 2013 Dancers HELP!

Does anyone have the BG videos of the dancers from DDR 2013? This theme being showcased (1:26 in) has them and I was wondering if anyone has the video files:



I heard the creator of the theme for SM5 was annoyed about people posting the theme on ZiV, but I already have the theme. I just want the BG videos

The theme in that video is different from what i heard Gene is the one who made it the theme in that video is from the creator of the DDR X2 theme just saying and also i saw in the DDR Next Generation theme they have them included but you have to get the addon pack and get the files out of there

For the record, those are X characters. X2 and on feature different designs.

Yeah, I'm looking for 2013.

There are no videos of the 2013 characters and there probably won't be. It's not easy to get clean recordings of them like it is with X, X2, SN, SN2, etc. CS.

I am trying to get some DDRII character videos done. That will be as close to 2013/2014 as we're gonna get.

Yeah, I'm trying to unlock everything first, to see if there's Hidden/Dark in the final options menu. Otherwise, I'm going to have to somehow get rid of the arrows myself.

If you make an Edit Data with no notes it works.

Those games don't have edit mode which is why he needs to find a way to get rid of the arrows.

It's actually 'relatively' simple to record the 2013 dancers, but it requires a very specific hardware setup, and everyone currently able to do so has neither the setup nor the desire to do it (which is fair enough).

All you do is run the game, dump the textures and then replace the life bar, arrows, judgement and all on-screen text with transparent textures. After that, run the game through a memory patcher that replaces the original textures with the transparant textures, and record the video footage.

It seems people don't want to do it for ethical reasons, which is fine. The existing DDR X2 dancer videos look terrible in that video, but if you take the original recordings , edit them so they loop flawlessly for 3 minutes, and re-encode at the original bit-rate, they look gorgeous.

Better order a cabinet right away then!

Does anyone know what programs to use to record the videos and edit them? I'd like to try

I have a similar question to a problem and I'd rather post here than make a new thread.
So I downloaded and placed the DDR X dancers video in the bganimations folder with a default.lua that was included

Yet when I remove the default.lua, it causes the whole game to lag when I play a song. Is there a fix to this?

Yeah, stop trying to franken-theme. That BGAnimation was made with the DDR Next Generation theme in mind, so of course it's gonna cause problems with other themes.

is that the case? Yeah I really don't know too much about theming. I was trying to use it with Cyberiastyle 8. Is there a way to get the videos to display properly without causing stepmania to lag?
