I'm pleased as punch to inform everyone that Sailor Moon is back!
Hulu.com has a "new" Sailor Moon series called Sailor Moon Crystals. Its basically the retelling of the Imperial Silver Crystal saga, but the animation is superb as the characters look exactly they way they are portrayed in the Manga.
I think that this is geared towards the Manga version so I don't think we're going to see any filler episodes, although I don't recall remembering any filler episodes from the original series (so thats kinda fuzzy on me).
All I can say is that I'm just happy and excited. Can't wait for the next episode to be uploaded to Hulu.com on Saturday, btw the episodes will be uploaded every Monday and Saturday.

I really enjoyed it too. They went a little crazy with 3D effects but still nice overall. Hopefully it will be successful enough for them to make all five sagas.
The original series had several filler episodes that were not part of the main story. The Doom Tree season is filler entirely and the first series was toned down in several ways. This one will have a more mature feel to it with some of the good old dark/disturbing stuff that went on in the manga plus it will move along faster.

I know that the anime is based in manga, unfortunetly 2 chapters will be released per month.
On the other hand, I like Sailor Moon attack.

Major thanks to you, SD (silverdragon754) for jogging my memory. I had completely forgot The Doom Tree season. So basically Sailor Moon Crystal is going in the direction of DBZ Kai.

I would say its more along the lines of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood with swifter pacing and following the manga more strictly.

I know that they have been up for a while, but just letting everyone know that Episodes 2 & 3 are now up on hulu.com.
