Everyone has a right to an opinion.
People should also voice it in a much nicer way...
Imagine the forum without people having opposing views.
No, Ryan, no.

good point but it says specifically in the tittle anyone who likes nightcore

I agree that people should be nicer... saying "fuck you" to a post like that is unneeded. Honestly, there's nothing wrong with liking nightcore, and you don't need to be so rude to someone who likes it. They like it. You don't have to like it. You don't have to listen to things you don't like.

No like seriously, nightcore is possibly one of the laziest methods of making music ever and a majority of it just steals other people's songs, speed it up slightly, and call it a new song. There are already too many nightcore youtube people as is; no one could give a shit about one more and no one is gonna recognize you as some music prodigy except 12 year old prepubescent *<3 omg japan is teh gr8est <3* kids on the internet.

....
That True Blue Nightcore was just horrendous.
I think I found the reason why I don't go to anime con raves much anymore unless the artist is fairly known for DnB, House, Hardcore, etc.
While your opinion on the matter is just that, a good majority of the members here don't seem to like it as much as you do, primarily due to the fact that nightcore is just a regular song being sped up with the vocals on high pitch. There are very small amounts of nightcore that I enjoy, but then again that was probably years ago (4 or 5 years actually).
The way your posting though, I am betting you haven't been around much here to know who our admin is, lest alone having a bit of online etiquette with that.

"suffering from success" |
Last updated: 2014-05-07 03:34am
Time to Bob Ross this thread up and paint some happy pictures.
I am not a fan of Nightcore. I don't find the songs within the genre all that appealing, and I find that there's little creativity and quality within most of the songs [I've heard] in the genre (the very concept of the genre is nothing more than to speed up previously existing music). However, I can understand where people are coming from when they say that they enjoy the music. Or at least the concept of the music.
With that said, I've got some songs that I like (and like a lot) that do the whole "pitched-up" thing well. "Pants" by DJ SHARPNEL (which uses a sample of an already fantastic tune), "Dog Walker" by They Might Be Giants (formant shifting on the vocals), and "CLIFFCORE" by mrSimon (which, again, uses a sample of an already fantastic tune) are wonderful examples of that in my opinion.
EDIT: Looking through this thread, I gotta say, I'm disappointed. I thought we knew better than this, to lash out at someone so easily, so harshly, for having a differing opinion. There was absolutely no reason to be so rude to Junko. I guess we've gotten so comfortable in our own communal skin that we completely forgot that not everyone in under the proverbial blanket, if that makes any sense.
