I want to recreate the jubeat experience for home use. I've already seen one japanese person who made an amazing arcade-style jubeat controller, but his/her video is in japanese, and the english annotations do only little. I want a detailed guide on how to make a jubeat controller, in steps with pictures.

being completely honest here I don't think there's going to be any *detailed* guides out there on how to replicate a jubeat controller for jukebeat or jubeat plus, and if there is, it's probably going to be fully in japanese.
the person who made that jubeat controller for his phone is probably not willing to give the blueprints on how to make it out.
for those that has no clue what the OP is talking about, this is what he means
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pz4qtogJfNs
also you have to build a frame around it. the "squares" with plastic-like glass. thin glass. i'm not sure what material, i'll attempt to look that up in the future
I can look into on TRYING to build one if I can ever find my phone. i'm not sure if it would be possible, though
EDIT: here's something that I found after a little bit of googling (page is dead so i had to use archive)

and here's a person's personal build of a jubeat controller

for the guide (in complete japanese..) click here

going to add some general information from the video/parts of guides that i've found over various forum boards + videos. the pictures are not mine. i'm only putting these here because the guy's english isn't the greatest.
the glass used for jubeat-jubeat saucer machines is acrylic glass. you can find this in stores, but you're probably going to have to design your own.
it should look something like this
if you happen to get a bigger model of it (you need to make ABSOLUTELY SURE that it is big enough to be evenly cut into 16 panels), cut them into 16 panels using a hot knife. and lay them side by side, it should result in...
something like this. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN USING THE HOT KNIFE.
then cut corners (like this) into the panels, again; be careful when using the knife...
(you'll need the corners for later)
