So spoke in a call a few months back with a few friends and Al2K4, and mentioned about a Pump It Up simfiles section, so anyone that has good knowledge with pump files, let me know, it'd be helpful.
Also thinking of a BMS simfiles section soon.

Depending on what you mean about "knowledge". If we are talking about custom files I have made few for usage in StepMania.

Are you sure? I thought we were going to cut back on simfiles because of limited room on the new server.

If you want PUMP files, knock yourselves out. http://www.pumpproplus.com/simfile-categories.aspx

Literally would rather knock myself out than use the files from there <:
when I say knowledge, I mean people that know which songs are from which mix, which they first appeared etc~ stepchart errors and all that, Alan said he'd stick me and JoycieC in charge of the files, but I want someone with the knowledge Tongue

Oh ok I would not know what songs are from what mix sadly. However if you need audio files or videos you can still get them from that site. I did not know the songs were out of order.

I never said they weren't in a correct order Pande ;O <3 by knowledge, I meant I want people who are familiar with PIU to tell people stuff like "no, thats an edit someone made and isn't in an actual game, oh thats not the correct version of the song, this stepchart is different from the stepchart in this mix" and all that Tongue
and the server stuff, Alan wanted to cut back on user created simfiles, but he has enough space to accommodate user made files Tongue

Well, if you want a good sense for what charts are still in the series, this guy has been filming chart videos from both Fiesta and Fiesta 2 for the past 2 years or so. If there are any hard to find charts or you want to replicate certain gimmicks on your own, they're good for reference.

Also, I have a near-perfect memory of the IDs of the series' songs if you need any of those.

Oh, I hoped for customs. There is still no quality web that hosts those. Anyways, I don't think that I will be able to help with officials as I have only seasonal access to machines and I'm pretty sure that there are people with much better possibilities.

I would love to see this. IIDX BMS files as of late seem to exist more in the form of Mediafire links, which aren't known for being terribly persistent. On the other hand the file sizes are immense, so that may be a complication.

While we're at it, might PMS and jubeat analyser files be a possibility?

Hey, I'm tying to get back into PIU. I've been searching for simfiles for a while, but not long enought to find the "motherload". The best sites that would have simfiles are mainly from the spanish pump community. You can see their videos with the songs for the current Pump games on youtube. But I did manage to find some other site that also are involved with selling pump it up pads. They are from Indonesia. They claim that their simfiles are 98% accurate. I have just begun trying to download the songs and take a look. I've only played Zero-NXA and that was a long time ago, so I woulnd't know how accurate these are.

Here is the link it's a indonesian website
http://shanered.blogspot.com/2012/07/download-stepmania-game-pump-it-up.html

Here is the site that sells the pads
http://www.piudancepad.com/

according to the site FAQ, the pads are made from shoes sponge (rubber?) , with vinyl pain ted standard cover and customized images
for the arrows. I believe they do international shipping to. And they also supposedly sell the songs from all the PIU on a DVD or USB
but I don't know the files are the same as the first link, but since the first page had a link to the second one I imagine that they are.

I am gonna register to some spanish sites and see what else I can find. I really want to find some files with the videos included. I have checked http://www.pumpproplus.com/simfile-categories.aspx but reading this thread discourages me from wanting to use them.

That first site actually links to pumpproplus for some of the arcade versions (it also links to pump haven but i don't think they are real PIU songs) , but that site has some simfiles for PIU Infinity and Fiesta2 which pump proplus does not have. so it is still worth taking a look at

Pump Pro Plus is an okay site but they strip everything back to fit the Pump It Up Pro formula; that is even if a chart has 10 singles, 4 doubles and a Double Peformance they will only include 5 singles (Beginner to Crazy) and 2 doubles (Freestyle and Nightmare), meaning a lot of content gets shafted. But by all means, they generally DO choose great charts to port over.

They're also fairly slow at updating which is understandable, andt the simfile selection for newer mixes like Fiesta onwards are pretty meager. Also no Infinity sims and missing a lot of BGAs.

I have looked into another site that has simfiles on a spanish site. I haven't really looked into them to see if they are accurate. Another thing I was checking was youtube videos that have "complete" collections of songs that are over 40GB.

If anyone wants to check this one out here is the link
