The 4th arcade REFLEC BEAT release, with location tests from 5/2 to 5/6.

Attending a location test will unlock preview songs on REFLEC BEAT colette until the location tests end.

System Changes:

・The "Refle" currency, similar to IIDX's Dellars, has been introduced.
・A new object type is introduced: Vertical Objects. They move straight up and down instead of bouncing off the sides.
・A new difficulty called Special is available for some songs. This difficulty is exclusive to Paseli users. (I know)
・REFLEC Dojo mode has been introduced, also exclusive to Paseli. It is a course mode of randomized songs that uses the Wonder Traveler HP gauge. Some Special charts and new songs are exclusive to courses (Tests) on this mode.
・Different jackets appear for different difficulties, like in the SOUND VOLTEX series. (note: Chu☆Chu☆Tonight already did this in colette -Autumn- actually)
・Results screen now shows your ranking within your location.
・Elisha, サヨナラ・ヘヴン, and smooooch・∀・are now their original game length.

Wow, by actually playing even once at one of those locations tests, some of the new songs from Groovin'!! can be unlocked on Colette, so you can play always play those even before the game really moves in.
Though, it's a bit unfair for those who can't go to the location tests (even if they made 7 places to go this time)

I think the name is kinda dumb, but I like the colors.

Eww. I hope the rest of the license choices aren't this bad.

The song Groovin' Magic by Round Table feat. Nino played in my head when I saw this. It would fit the game quite nicely.

New "scoop" on the REFLEC BEAT colette website:
TOP notes are now not colored green, and you can JUST REFLEC them. EDIT: I'm dumb, they're new, see above/below



I don't think I like this change. Seems like the triangle won't be enough to be able to distinguish it as a TOP note from a glance.

On the other hand, green notes wouldn't really fit with the magenta/yellow/blue color scheme this game has.

I wish there was a choice where you could change the color of the notes to anything you want.

One correction from details on a poster: those new notes shown above aren't TOP Notes. They are called Vertical Notes, and they move straight downward.

So are they like a new note skin or are the vertical notes added to the notes bouncing off the walls?

Also, to add further to this, those "vertical notes" are non-random, meaning that they will always come to the same place (kind of like Top Objects would always go to the same top).
This seems to be some interesting new addition at least
