Thread to discuss your favourite CS IIDX style/styles. Doesn't have to be limited to just the songlist. Could be based on bgm, interface, and features, etc. So what's yours?

My all-time favourite would have to be DistorteD. The songlist has a good number of favourable tracks and exclusive songs/charts. Songs that come to mind: Infinite Cave, Quantum Teleportation, OUTER LIMITS ALTERNATIVE. Interface design is also one of my most favourites. Very abstract, which is something I have always preferred in a IIDX interface.

SIRIUS

Well, I'd have to say I liked 10th style, IIDX Red, and DJ Troopers for both the song lists and interfaces. Empress also had a great song list, but I didn't like the interface that much, and Distorted had a great interface, but the songlist was okay to me.

Troopers and Distorted

Great songlists and the interfaces are miles better than the other ones.
Never gets old - tons of replay value.

5th style CS. It has c-r-a-c-k-ER. Your argument is invalid. Very Happy

But really, I almost want to say EMPRESS if you want to count the premium best CD. Without it I would have to give it to Distorted. It's hard to beat a line up that has Go Beyond, Quell, and Solid State Squad. Troopers would be my runner up. It was good for how hidden the stuff was, it made you keep playing to see what other hidden goodies the mix had.

I wish SIRIUS CS would have happen. It's likely my favorite of the IIDXs song list wise.

DJT would definitely be a close second for me as well. The unlocks, customizations, and extra stage system were also excellent. It was the first style I played though, so I may be a bit bias lol.

9th, 10th and RED.
Awesome song lists and interface.

I'd say Happpy Sky too it there wasn't that lag issue Sad
Favourite interface Smile

Also TROOPERS, 8th, 7th, 6th, EMPRESS, GOLD were pretty nice too.

Not a fan of DistorteD though and really old mixes are too old.

Resort Anthem all the way! Everytime I hear that opening BGM I can't help but start dancing. And as for genres, there's some funny names, like one song is in the genre 'japan' and I couldn't help but laugh Very Happy

Started with 8th Style around the time IIDX RED CS was coming out. I love 8th's songlist! I've always really liked DistorteD and Troopers though for interface.
If it ain't no natural law, then you can keep your regulations. 'Cause if I like it, I do it.

I don't like the bright lane flares from 8th and before, nor the interface in general. I also don't like putting a towel on my TV, so I prefer RED-Empress in general for Sudden+. Those six games are all solid and each have enough songs unique to the style.

But truly, I just play LR2 with the Deep Forest selection screen/results, and OADX3/+ for the game skin. Being able to play all the songs, period, is just great.

Still strong with my onion on Distorted / Troopers.
Everything else gets stale quick and doesn't compare.

"Gimme a mothaf----n' break!"
For me, I would have to say DJ TROOPERS, with DistorteD as a very close second.

That has never had a home version. This thread is to post our favorite CS Games of IIDX.

For my favorite CS IIDX games, I'd say any game from GOLD to EMPRESS (the latter mainly for EMPRESS BEST).
