I don't seem to be able to acquire much information from this site right here, beyond the video at least: http://www.studio41b.com/jukenbox.php - but from what I can get at, according to the demonstration video, here's how it works:
- It seems to be a 100 sq. feet room, containing a grid of 5x5 LED light-up tiles.
- You can select a genre of music from: dance pop, rock, country, heavy metal, your own music.
- One to three players
- Three difficulties of easy, medium, and hard.
- The object is to avoid standing on the randomly appearing red tiles as opposed to blue tiles.
- Green lasers appear that shoot across the room that requires you to dodge, as well.
Judging from the video, I have absolutely no clue what to think. But my arcade down here in Tulsa is getting one of these sometime this year, and I'm personally looking forward to giving it a try when they open it up. The idea of playing your own music in there is kind of interesting, definitely tempting to play some Bemani tunes over it.
