To be clear, it wasn't *confirmed* to me by Konami at ATEI that they definitely won't be there (I didn't explicitly ask)... but personally I'd lay money that they won't be to save costs.
Oh, and the EU cab will have USB support - that I did ask!
Who wants to bet our CS version of X won't include the USB library export function Japan has?Oh, and the EU cab will have USB support - that I did ask!
I'm not getting my hopes up much after what happened with SuperNOVA2 CS.

...That would piss me and the other DDR X US CS buyers off so badly >_<

got there early this morning, thankfully there was only one other guy playing (he was also a nice dude)
I LOVE DDR X. and damn, the cabinet and monitor are so HUGE in person. I loved playing the SN2 songs and was surprised to pass Pluto Challenge and NGO expert :O
Flight of the Phoenix was also pretty fun, i'm liking shock arrows a lot more now. but i dunno if i'm avoiding them the "right" way... what do you guys do? I jump back into the center.
but yeah this cabinet is amazing. i'll have a few pics up in the gallery. also, HADES also has the new font in it's banner, i'm surprised no one noticed this until after the game was released.

You know what else is awesome?
The SHELF. It's too good. Finally, somewhere you can effectively WATCH
while playing, so nobody is "in ur bag stealin ur cola". Also a great place to put towels etc.

I will wait till at least a proper beta version of OpenITG comes out and all the IOW(ITGIO) is worked out otherwise I'll just treat this cabinet as a poor StepMania with bad simfiles.

That Dwainpipe shouldn't have messed about with that cabinet without taking a full backup of the original ITG2 r2 hard drive to fall back on.
If he did it properly (installed r23 first, kept the ITG2 binary and ADDED the itg3 content instead of using an alpha OpenITG) then I'd at least approve of it, until then I agree with Brazen.

Might as well bump this.
Going down here Wednesday to check out the updated DDR X. And the hideously bad layout downstairs where all the machines are lined up in a row so that no one can hear anything.
Anyone else feel like going too?

I'll be about in around a fortnight.
Last i saw DDRX was up by where Supernova is, i guess it was moved downstairs when it was taken out and patched.
I'm not too excited about playing the machine tho, all the songs i was looking forward to playing are the locked e-amuse ones
Really hoping they release some kind of player input unlock system like DDRSN2

Well seeing how no one had a issue with it in SN2, I think the player input unlock system is here to stay.Post #53 · Posté à 2009-05-04 08:54:31am il y a 14.9 années

Haha, they better. The DDR X and SuperNOVA are still upstairs AFAIK. They re-arranged the downstairs part so bad that I have to see it to believe it.
I'll probably have a few goes on the DDR X before going back on the SuperNOVA depending on how bad the lag is.

Oh no, I used to rather like the old layout with the couple of machines back to back and the ITG2 and Extreme on the wall next to the EZ2. Quote

Last time I spent more time on the downstairs SuperNOVA because even though it's supposed to be the worse synced of the two, for £1 for 4 stages it was less of a burned on my wallet! Also is DDR X really laggy then? I haven't tried it myself but if I find myself down the Troc later this year I'll be sure to have a go.

I think they'll have to - seeing as they are being totally shit at trying to push eAmusement to arcades in the US and Europe (I spoke to Konami at ATEI about eAmusement and they couldn't even tell me what the monthly subscription was going to be, and weren't interested in taking my details for later use).

Alright! KevinDDR checking in from Seattle, Washington! I'm over in England on my bi-annual vacation to visit my entire family over here and I'll be in London on the 1st of July for some dancing games possibly. Anyone wanna stop by the Troc fairly early in the day on the 1st or 2nd of July?

Bumpy bumpy.
Didn't see the point in starting anything new, but I went yesterday and thought I would update
Upstairs has the SN, was in constant use whenever I was up there. Didn't go on either so don't know which is patched or unpatched, maybe both are now.
Basement level, there's a PIU NX, set to 2 songs/£1 -.- In a bad location, I had it ran over by idiots twice in one song.
PIU Fiesta, not bad Used the most out of all while I was down there. Still 3 songs/£1.
PIU Pro, not in a bad condition now, but the pads were slippy as hell. Fell off during DJ Superstar, luckily managed to get back without failing
One EM has ITG3 on it (oITG) They sooo need to change the banners to correct or more appropriate ones, some people were thinking it is an EM, paying, then not finding any songs they want and either failing out in an instant, or abandoning after one song. Hey, free credits!
Again, another problem, the 3rd Mix cab has EM in it. Grrr, I wanted to play 3rd The screen shakes at random intervals too. Makes life interesting.
There's two EM2 and I didn't try either. It's hard to hear anything on any machine if more than 2 are in use. The ParaParaParadise is so quiet it is very hard to hear if the oITG and EM2 on the other side are being used. I didn't try the EM2 or SN down there, didn't see the point. Works fine though, and I had real fun learning it. Wish I could get hold of a PS2 copy. Or a machine

The upstairs SN is patched and the pads play well, but the P2 side needs to be stepped on harder and may drop freezes from time to time.
And that 3rdMix cab with EM in it used to be an Extreme until it broke and they replaced it with EM. sadtimes.
One of the EM2s downstairs is on joint premium, but the screen is in awful condition and makes it hard to see anything going on on-screen.
