DLC songs will be released in packs of 4 and will range from originals/crossovers to licenses from both Japan and America
3 difficulty levels for each song
Jacket banners in addition to normal banners/backgrounds
COLLABORATION EVENTS will be a major possibility

Fun stuff! My favorite is Weekender Girl, mainly because I love kz stuff, but the steps are a little unusual and fun. My only complaint (a small one) is that the 8th note streams in Dancing in the Fire feel a little awkward against the music at times. I may just be crazy though, so take that with a grain of salt.

Thanks for the feedback! The reason Dancing in the fire's streams are like that is that I didn't want to offset the balance of difficulty by featuring 16ths in that section. I know what you mean though, I took a double-take on that section too.

Part of me wishes for challenge steps, but these are still fun charts! I'll definitely keep grabbing whatever you add.

Challenge steps are a possibility, I was trying to stick to the three-difficulty layout that jukebeat/RB+ had, but some songs feel deserving of Challenge steps so they may be added later. Thanks for sticking with the pack! Same to BeFan.

KOANMI music pack 01 will be released by the end of the week, hopefully.

Ughh...This pack really inspires me to make simfiles...Which I could do if Stepmania 5's edit mode didn't crash when I play the whole chart, and if Stepmania 3.5 didn't bug out when starting up T_____T

I make all my files on 3.9 and I don't have any technical problems. I encourage you to go for it.

I sincerely apologize for the long hiatus after J-POP PACK 01's release. College took a lot of my time as well as writing simfiles for the Tournament of Immortals contest. I am just about ready to kick things back into full swing, but I have a few things to say first and a few things to ask of everyone interested in the pack.

First of all, in order to make future releases easier AND stay more faithful to the iOS DDR release schedule, the future songpack song count will be reduced from 4 to 3 songs per pack. This will make it easier to release packs and allow for more diverse song/artist choices and song/artist-specific packs.

Second of all, I would like some more feedback on what songs and new features you would like to see in DanceDanceRevolution plus. I don't take requests, per se, but I am open to suggestions. Even if I don't step the song you directly ask for, I may step other songs by that artist or similar songs by other artists. Pretty much the only things I WON'T EVER STEP are:

CROSSxBEATS songs (due to both personal reasons AND that everyone in the world is stepping them)
DDR edits (unless the song is a different cut a-la Dragon Blade's GFdm version or an original version of a licensed cover such as CONNECT. ITG/Pump edits are fair game, but don't expect too many of them)
Controversial mainstream pop/teeny-bopper artists (artists like Justin Bieber, Jonas Brothers, Rebecca Black, Adam Lambert, Miley Cyrus, etc. There will be more mainstream/pop music included, such as Train and Maroon 5, but certain artists/songs I have no desire to step.)

Finally, what other features besides songs would you like to see in DanceDanceRevolution plus? These could include but are not limited to:

Doubles (I'm leaning towards including doubles, but not every song will have them at first. Perhaps a "DOUBLES PACK XX" series adding Doubles charts to existing songs)
Optional x-scale ratings (placed in an individual custom .ZIP)
Videos
Nonstop/Challenge courses

Any and all feedback/suggestions are appreciated.

First of all, I would like to say that your files never ceased to impress me. You're great at what you do, and every one of these files are just downright FUN. Keep it up.

Here's a few ideas I have in mind for expansions:

- Widescreen wallpapers (1280x720)
- Eurovision packs
- More collaborations *wink wink nudge nudge*
- Special Unlock Events (like Triple Journey)
- More Russel Square
- CLASS courses, like in IIDX

Thanks for pointing that out, I guess the periods at the end are messing with the .zip filename. I'll fix it right now.

Announcement: As promised, more info on BOSS CHARGE has been unveiled! The event will feature a total of five songs; four preliminary songs and an EXTRA STAGE. The four preliminaries will be challenging, but won't hold a candle to the EXTRA STAGE... the final pre-release announcement will come with the release of the next music pack.

Announcement 2: BOSS CHARGE event not your style? Don't worry... DDR plus will also feature the traditional EXTRA STAGE system with a FINAL STAGE, EXTRA STAGE and ENCORE EXTRA STAGE! These songs will be released after BOSS CHARGE.

As usual, the X-scale ratings pack has been updated.

And with that, Phase One of DanceDanceRevolution plus comes to a climactic close! Thanks to everyone who's played so far, it's your support that keeps me from just being too lazy to update this project.

Announcement: DanceDanceRevolution plus Phase Two

Phase Two of DanceDanceRevolution plus is on the way!! Here's what you can come to expect:

Release structure overhaul: In Phase One, songs were released in packs of three or four songs, in a fashion similar to the iOS BEMANI games. For Phase Two and onwards, however, I am introducing a new release structure closer in structure to the current arcade version of DDR! Songs will be released at random intervals (hopefully more frequent than before) which will allow for a wider variety of songs to be released.

Events: Special events will occur throughout the following phases! Collaboration events, themed events, and commemorative events will be among them.

BG videos: Background videos will be added to old files in addition to new ones! If a song has a music video, as long as it isn't NSFW or otherwise objectionable it will most likely be included! However, I am still deciding as to how the videos will be included: I'm leaning towards either a custom ZIP for each file, or creating a public-to-view Google Drive folder with the videos.

Finally, I will be looking for your input on Phase Two, particularly with what types of songs will be released! I have done some analysis of the download count of my simfiles from Synchronicity and plus, and I have a basic understanding of what my fellow SM players want. However, I'd like to hear some direct opinions on what songs you want to see! I won't guarantee at all that I'll take requests, but I'd like a general consensus on what you enjoyed, didn't enjoy, and would like to see more of in DanceDanceRevolution plus. Please, stay tuned!
