Hopefully it includes that iPad support they were teasing us with a month ago.

From what I can read, all that one tweet that's linked is teasing is the pop'n Sunny Park pack 3, and that's indeed all that's showing up right now. Maybe the Taka and kors k packs will be on special (read: not Thursday) release date like BLUE DRAGON in January?

hey I have a few questions about the game, I was wondering what your favorite hit sound is guys, and any advice on getting past 7s...?

I have the really small iphone but its not that big of a deal right? (lol pun). And do you prop the phone on anything? I use my wallet and the back of a mouse pad for traction. Do you solely use the index and middle. do you freeform, do you alternate hits between hands?

I've found that tapping out a metronome during the pauses in music helps me to sync to the game and I can progress harder songs easier. Though, the charts are all the same so I feel like muscle memory or memorization might play an important part of clearing the hard songs.

Probably going to buy the Kors K pack.

also bought the blue dragon pack, yet kind of regret it at this point. All the songs are very intense and the jump from hyper to another(?) is quite drastic...

Three new pack in a week? Boy, Konami is putting so much meat in a short time span xD

As noted on the pop'n music Thanksgiving stream, an update for rhythmin is scheduled for this Wednesday (in JST).

The update adds the long-awaited iPad support, the 4 Tsugidoka characters, and two new songs:

TWINKLING / 猫叉Master feat.ミミニャミ
Rhythm in Pocket / ビンビンWAVES

I'm not sure about Rhythm in Pocket, but TWINKLING is unlocked through the new Lapistoria map set on Treasure Mode.

I really can't wait to see all the UI upgrades we're getting.


Specifically, I can't wait to organize my songs like I can in all the other games. 30 pages of six songs just isn't cutting it, sorry Konami.


Also, it'll be very nice having 9999 points going into these new treasure mode maps.

So... What do you guys think of the new update? It looks AMAZING now on an iPad. The new treasure mode maps are pretty fun to play too (but are pretty easy if you take advantage of character abilities). However, the animation gets a bit laggy when there's a lot of notes. Anyone else faced this problem?

I haven't noticed lag with many notes, but I noticed a bit of jerkiness at the very beginning sometimes of a chart. Sync's fine, so it doesn't matter though.

As for aesthetics, I LOVE IT. I am especially thankful that Treasure Mode is so zoomed out now; I can actually easily plan stuff thanks to it.

Meanwhile, details:

rhythm in pocket is unlocked in the WORLD COLOR map, which is the new 3rd map (I think? I played this morning). I can't be sure, but I believe the comments throughout the map are some sort of interview/message from TOMOSUKE and Des-ROW.

The Lapistoria map is ridiculous. I'm still only on the first one, and it will sap your points dry.

Not only are the Lapistoria Tsugidoka 4 available as characters, but also the Hinabitter characters and Mimi/Nyami as a duo (I think; I didn't actually unlock it yet).

Why am I seeing the WORLD COLOR map but not the Lapistoria map...?

You have to play at least 1 map stage in full before the Lapistoria map will show up. Once you do, it will be the last thing on the list.

iPad ver looks awesome, also the song unlock for the lapistoria map is TWINLING from lapistoria.

Also the characters unlocks are the Tsugidoka 4, the Hina Bitter Girls & Mimi and Nyami lapistoria versions.

What do you mean by 1 map stage in full? I've got the art and track from the WORLD COLOR map, what else is there to do?

Well, in that case, I don't know. Have you at the very least played all the stages in, say, the last 2 map sets? That might be the problem.

Hmm.. to the best of my knowledge, I've got six gifts in all three stages of every map, but I'll go ahead and roll through a few of the last stages to see if that triggers anything. Thanks!
