Nah, this RSF is totally useless. More than 300 tickets spent so far and I've got only 2 normal ULC. I better wait for the next anniversary so C(r)apcom (really) lowers Yellow ULC chances like it happened with C+A back then.
It happens to me with Omniverse (STD ULC). I just avoid that song now.

BTW, I just have experienced weird bug on ULC (not related to the event). I unlocked some pieces and I left the game on music select screen before the ULC period ended, leaving unlocked piece not updated on my device. Then, I did ULC on the same chart again, however, as I clear the ULC (unlocked the 16th piece), the ULC is still not over despite I have unlocked that chart.

Capcom seems to really like Headphone-Tokyo**, because they get another event coming up on the 13th. Soooo boring, lmao.
Rules are Total Score Attack, for a Team Battle of 4 players each.
Rewards are:
* tokyo / Headphone-Tokyo** feat.nayuta - Win both sections or earn 5000000 cumulative points.
* "WOODEN MOSAIC" game skin - Rank within the top 1000 or on every hundredth place to 2000th.
* Reuniverse / Headphone-Tokyo** feat.カヒーナ - Earn 500000 cumulative points.
Section 1:
* イルミナレガロ
* HEADPHONE PARTY
* Break Your World
* Cosmology / RIC (A new song and future Random Festival exclusive. WiIl probably be the best thing to come out of this event)
Section 2:
* BRAND NEW
* NIGHT FEELIN'
* Dirty Mouth
* ロックマン (CUTMAN STAGE)

It is not a significant glitch. Nothing really affected, except that your friend can still do ULC and collect spt for a little longer period (you can also retake the challenge, if you wish to).
....... I just had spent all 400 remaining tickets and I still got nothing from RSF.
I doubt if I should pay CAPCOM if there are zero guarantee to get something new.

On my side, I still have 452 premium tickets, but I'll spend them slow and steady for the rest of the RSF. When RanSel ends, I'll use the remaining tickets for the headphone-tokyo** score attack event, and maybe get a ¥10.000 appstore gift card to buy 2 or 3 PT Big Sales.
About the event, YES!!!! They really included "Tokyo" there. It's the only song I really like from the mt: mini-album.

Headphone-Tokyo** battle started and gosh is Cosmology hot.
Due to unforeseen circumstances I can't take a lineout for another 6 hours or so. SO I just took a screen capture again for the time being.

I rather like Cosmology. The rhythm's tricky to get at first, but it's quite fun once you nail it down. Took me roughly 45 minutes and about 20 tries, but I finally got below the 10-Cool cutoff for a 99% on it. A couple tips for those interested:
Notation: o for a tap note, 8 for 2 tap notes at the same time, > for a flick note, [ for the start of a hold, and ] for the end of a hold.
Intro loop:
1---2---3---4---
o.o.o..o.o.[]...
The part after all the flicks:
1---2---3---4---
o.o.oo.o.o..[.].
(Note: I'm not completely sure about the end of that hold note pair.)
Middle section loop (immediately after the above, repeats 4 times):
1---2---3---4---
o.o.o.o..o.o.o>.
..o.o.o..o.o.o>.
..o.o.o..o.o.o>.
..o.o.o.8.8.8.8.
After the 4th iteration, this is followed by the first measure of the pattern repeated twice, but with the first note replaced with a hold that lasts the entire measure:
1---2---3---4---1
[.o.o.o..o.o.o>.]
(Note that the hold of the second measure starts at the same time the first hold ends.)
And finally the ending pattern:
1---2---3---4---1
o...o..[].[].o.oo
(Note that the last note is also the same note that starts the next repetition, I just put it there to make the pattern clearer.)
Also, for what it's worth, I found it slightly easier with F-H turned on.
On a side note, I'm not sure if I got really lucky or really unlucky with this matchup. My team's currently 4th place mostly thanks to one really dedicated teammate, but we're also up against the 7th place team.

I think I'm on the same team as yours ROFL
I'm actually quite nervous that one of our opponent literally said "I'm going for 5M"
I'm T.KAZ3-1 btw

Yep, we're on the same team. I'm ポチエグゼ in case it wasn't obvious, and I sent you a friend request.
Looks like our team is still winning, but just barely.

Cosmology is quite catchy and it's not difficult to learn. I played Hard once then played Master and it's really fun.
My team currently has luis_tatsuyax and a 3rd active player, with the 4th one being totally inactive (maybe a dummy account). Rival team has only one member active, so I think this won't be too difficult.
Currently planning to get 3M just on Section 1 (Headphone Party + share mainly).

My team is something else. My partner is active player, but he does not have BYW. (He have Rockman remix, though).
Other 2 members are probably casual players who are not interested in the event at all. (RP~500)
My rivals are pretty tough (RP~1500), most of them are active players and one of them already reached 3M.
Anyway, I'm aiming for 5M. I don't really care the status of the team anymore

Also, Cosmology is pretty fun, easy to understand master chart

Half of my team of dead players, but we're decent. Although we're being beaten badly by the only active player on the other team since he has a Headphone Tokyo song and we don't. It's around 7.2 mil to 4.7 mil.
Cosmology master is a really, really fun chart, one of my favorites.

Oh yeah, completely forgot to post this earlier but Spring Campaign 2015 has started.
You can unlock all the game skins from last year's Spring Campaign (THE YELLOW, COLORFUL, CHECKERED, Retro Game), the theme skin "DREAMY NIGHT", and the game skin "CHESTERFIELD".

Just got Cosmology on my 34th try. More evidence for the theory that the drop rate starts higher and lowers over time. Credit where it's due: The first time I heard that theory was in a PM from Hido.
Post #1080 · Posted at 2015-03-28 03:57:33am 9 years ago
It's a theory I've had for quite some time. I realized about it when I got C+A after my 5th try back then.
Another theory I have is that the system enables some NM ULC by period. I have this thought based on the fact that when I got Sundrop Remix Ver. , Arrows&Beats got the very same song just a few minutes later.
