The drum portion of the game looks to be well done, unfortunately without an ipad its really rather off limits I think. I tend to hit the wrong notes constantly with the very small buttons on this mini iphone.

Lucky Autobear seems to rotate every five months and 12 hours.
When Vol. 5 was out of time, Vol. 1 appeared again on July, then Vol. 2 this month.

No, Vol. 5 is different (which was last month) from Vol. 1. Vol. 1 is available this month, and then Vol. 2 in September, etc.

got an iPad mini, played this game again. The drums are very fun but the game is taxing. I cant pinpoint what it is but the game just runs kinda crunchy(for me). Guitar portion doesn't suffer as much from this.

The horrible frame rate is amazing though considering how great the other bemani games run.

The app is very memory intensive. Close out everything else.

I find strumming guitar works best if you use the side of your thumb. Before that I was having the same issues as you mentioned.

Learn Japanese.

oh okay, learn Japanese why didn't I think of that?! LOL

1. I type in google "How hard is it to learn----(Japanese pops up first).
2. Next, an Article about why you SHOULDN'T Learn Japanese shows up.

http://www.japantoday.com/category/opinions/view/why-you-shouldnt-learn-japanese
hahaha.

I am just going to find a good Japanese friend and send him screenshots of the options menu though. I'll display the translation here if I go through with it. Anybody that can read Japanese here?

Oh the biggest complaint is the Japanese interface. I sort of get what is going on now but if anyone could PLEASE explain/translate/link me the translated options and modifiers for each instrument that would be incredible... I could Screenshot them if needed.
Sorry, but that's nothing to complain about. This is a Japanese game, released for the Japanese market. Japan speaks Japanese. So, of course the game is going to be in Japanese. If you want quick results, just learn to bullshit through the interface. It's faster and easier than screenshotting and asking some person to translate for you.

Continuing on with what chewi said, it would extremely tedious and unresourceful for someone (or more than one) who is fluent in Japanese to translate everything based off screenshots just for one person to know what is going on in a certain game. It's illogical.

With that in mind, don't be dumb, please?

Sorry to be so blunt...but I'm tired of people complaining about language barriers.

Also you don't need to master the damn language. Just learning the kana alone would do you wonders with navigating the app.

Or just do what I did, experiment and figure stuff out as it goes.

You are playing a game that has never really touched a Western market, albeit some instances here and there but nothing that really took off. At the very least, there are some things that have English on them, so it's not like the entire game is written in Japanese.

Mastering Japanese could take you years, just best to learn the basics and call it a day unless you want to make a career out of something that involves speaking fluent Japanese.

a.k.a language barriers are the least of your worries when playing a rhythm game.

I apologize if it was a stupid request guys.. I didn't really mind the responses until your moderator called me dumb.?

Why do your moderators have to insult people to get a point across that was already made respectfully? I asked for a translation of a mere 20 Japanese words from the modifier options.

I just came here to be nice and wanted to contribute. I thought someone would like it if the options were translated on this thread. It wasn't an attempt for up votes, attention, anything like that. It was just my way of saying I love your site and I want to help in some way. Damn man.

If I hurt you, then I apologize. Guess that was a bit harsh, too.

But honestly, if you want to know what the modifiers in kanji mean, try experimenting with them and see what happens.

Well, I did experiment with them and that was probably enough. However I found out that the APP for Google Translate can translate from images (camera too!) so I have run the options menu through that (nice app!). I hope it can be of use to someone. I realize you guys might think its redundant but I think it will be helpful. As an aside, maybe turning off the display FX can help with stability/timing.

(Sorry overreacted about that stuff earlier maybe. It is just that ZiV is the only place to talk about Bemani I've ever had besides Outphase (ghost town) and all my friends do NOT like bemani games.. Cry )

One other thing, I see that one of the campaigns is locked until you link to an arcade? Is that possible for us in anyway without living near bemani arcade?. lol?

This is actually very helpful post, and again, I apologize if I hurt your feelings earlier.

Yeah, it's actually part of the BEMANIxJAEPO event, or whatever it's called. I believe, from what I've seen and heard, that you have to be present at JAEPO to unlock the campaign, which for us living outside of Japan, is completely Bonkers, unless there is a leaked way to pull this off.
