Why do arcades need to be registered by Konami again?
Because they need to use special equipment (read: a router) to connect to Konmai's servers.Post #22 · Posted at 2014-06-01 04:05:08pm 9.9 years ago

As games as like DDR X, or DDR X2 in such as TX or MA, It doesn't have E- Amusement. All it has is Edit Data. Plus, E Amusement Cards are maybe expensive and people might not go there if you converted into USD. It costs alot of money. Think of it as a E Amusement Card Dispenser. Same with Paseli, It's too expensive unless Konami can make the prices low. Even though games like DDR X3, They might or not have e amusement because i didn't been there. E amusement cards are expensive. So Konami didn't put E Amusement Games as like reflec beat and the game i just mention. So it's not in Dave & Busters or in Putt Putt Golf (Yes that place has arcade games)

Well, of course... That's like trying to download Steam games from your uncle's computer.Post #26 · Posted at 2014-06-01 10:08:30pm 9.9 years ago

To put this into retrospect, it's like saying why does the Nintendo DS have to connect to Nintendo's Wi-Fi network and not any other server. The product is designed to connect to the Nintendo Wi-Fi network and nothing else. It's definitely possible to make it do otherwise, however it would involve hacking the game to change what server it connected to and doing a bit of reverse engineering to construct your own server program.

The TLDR of this thread is;
Konami won't support e-amuse in the west because it doesn't make them enough money.
My 2 cents;
There are plenty of arcades with e-amuse access in North America. You just need to know where to look and live in a semi-populated area.

Can we not confuse people, please? There are THREE arcades with eAMUSEMENT access in North America, and they are the three Round 1 locations in Southern California. Any other location that has what appears to be online connectivity on a recent BEMANI game is running on Programmed World or Programmed Sun, NOT eAMUSE. Stop spreading misinformation.

It does not matter if eAMUSEMENT access is obtained with Programmed World or Programmed Sun, at least to me.

I know most people probably don't care. That's not why I'm emphasizing the distinction though.
There are a few arcades in Europe with PW support. Check the locations database for where they might be.

But how exactly am I supposed to know which arcade has PW support? Can't you just tell me which arcades have PW?
Post #34 · Posted at 2014-06-03 11:10:40am 9.9 years ago
No, I can't. Because I don't live in Europe. How about you use some critical thinking and figure it out. Hint: If an arcade has DDR 2013, pop'n Sunny Park, or IIDX Tricoro or Spada, then it has PW support. Otherwise, it still might, but you'll have to do some research and find out.

But there is little information to get via this site. The arcade tracker only shows you a few games they have, the site, the location and name, and not much else.

How about you shell out some effort and do your own research instead of asking people and wasting other's time?

I tried to look via the arcade viewer, and I can only find arcades with DDR and DDR rip-offs.

Guess you need to look through different sources then. Try Googling.

No luck. I looked up several music game names and added europe at the end, and nothing. I even tried looking for BEMANI netherlands and all I got was a steam group and a website that doesn't even work.
