First of all... YAY!

Second... things that got my attention in this final:

- A random person in the backstage during the first chorus of Russia's presentation.
- Natalie singing out of tune (don't even ask me what I think about the song cut) and bad random camera after the second chorus.
- Anouk got 10 points from Denmark, 8 from Finland, 8 from Iceland, 8 from Norway and 8 from Sweden. The Netherlands is the new Nordic adopted baby.
- Nice to see the good results for Malta and Belgium. I wonder how much the projections, charisma and lyrics on the background helped ByeAlex, Gianluca and Bellarosa.

Too bad we have to wait a whole year for another week of enjoyment. But it was good, definitely.

I see Slovenia as like the Lativa of the ex-Yugo countries of Eurovision. Usually gets no points from their neighbors and making it to the final is a rare occassion

I was predicting Latvia as the last place in the whole competition. Almost got it. Even if they were in the same semi-final as Estonia and Lithuania, with 12 points from both, they wouldn't advance. Now it's 3 (SF) last places in 5 years. The last latvian song I really liked was Pirates of the Sea, in 2008, though... oh, and Music Thief (Eirodziesma 2012) was cool, too .

I just don't understand what happened to Ryan Dolan. He got points from 3 countries only (2 from Sweden/Cyprus; 1 from UK). Bad jury support? Or maybe everyone took a break, stopped watching or already chosen their favourites before his performance.

I think its the second choice, who knows how the jury/televoting went (we'll find out soon)

Also read an article about how Robin from Sweden wasn't happy with his result. Honestly I thought Sweden should sent Yohio instead of Robin

I'm confused on how in the final, Spain got last place with both juries & televoting, however Ireland got 23rd with juries & 14th televoting & ended up last place in the final

Romania should count their blessings for having their ass saved by televoters

Because the votes were all collated from every jury and every televoter? Assume somewhere like France really liked them and gave them a ton of televotes. If every other country didn't vote for them, they'd have the same average, but they'd pick up a couple of points from an individual country.
