Who else is pissed off with the 34°C heatwave-y weather here?
I am ... T_T, can't sleep at night and sweating like crazy. Thank god it cools off slightly at night though.
It should be 21-25°C ... not >30°C
Edit 1: ... Damn heat is still going on; not even doing anything and am sweating like crazy .

Nope, no fans here.
And this was like months ago since my last post... it's currently only 10-15°C now.

It'll be so ironic if we all end up with a scorching summer in 2010 hahaha.

Well in a strange way it is actually. Basically I look at it this way:The North and South caps of ice are like an ice cube in a glass of water. Then global warming is like putting a glass with two ice cubes in a environment with a warmer climate. The melting water and temperature of the ice cubes cools down the rest of the water in the glass which also effects the temperature of the glass it is in. Once the ice cubes are gone the water starts to warm up again.
So basically this comparison sums it up.
People are throwing this global warming idea around saying it's ALL our own fault this is happening. If you ask me, that's a bit false. I mean, who knows? Maybe this is part of an earth cycle. I know those statistics Al Gore showed say the opposite but they don't date back to the start when Earth was forged and sustainable for life. So maybe out of a chance the Earth is supposed to get this warm then go back to its norm. So really I think it's not only man that is warming the earth, but also the nature of Earth itself. You then also have to consider the sun and its rays. They can't stay consistent. It just isn't like that. Maybe it's on one of it's fluctuations which does something that effects climates of planets. So I believe we are only partial to blame for what's going on.
Sorry if I sound like such a nerd. Science is just a passionate topic for me. Unless it's biology.
Somewhat unrelated fact: Al Gore uses 4x the amount of electricity than the average American. Nice job environmental hypocrite.

Texas? 19 degrees? That IS weird. But here in NJ, it recently got to be 21 degrees, but with the wind chill, it felt more like -2. Not fun.
