Since I don't have third generation console I can't have access to the newer games so its just me and my dusty old fat PS2 forever. To this day, I'm still playing Star Ocean: Till the end of Time. I have like 6 separate files with about over 100 hours on each of them.

WOW!! You've played over 100 hours on Star Ocean?! You must be a fan of this game.
I play Super Monkey Ball deluxe. It's seriously the 2nd best game I have ever played in the PS2. It adds all the stages in SMB1 and SMB2 stages + they add in even more stages.

Only DDR and IIDX games for me. Though it's more IIDX now; I have somewhat moved away from DDR. TBH, I was never totally invested in the 6th gen consoles. I ended up playing mostly PS1 and N64 till I finally got a GameCube in 2005.

I still play CS DDR games, but for the most part I like to play old racing games and RPGs on my PS2. Gran Turismo 4 is still one of my favorite titles ever.

Every once in a while, I play the old CS DDR games (MAX-X2). Mostly for my edits.

Mostly Saru Getchu (Ape Escape): Million Monkeys. If only Dash Boots and Laser Guns weren't so broken in multiplayer when equipped with Ice...and customizing gadgets for Helga/Haruka would be really nice.
I also occasionally play Dodonpachi Daioujou and Mushihimesama, though I don't play them a lot because the original version of Dodonpachi Daioujou is too hard for me (even Black Label is too hard), and Mushihimesama's scoring system is a little annoying (though the lack of a scoring system on Original mode is even more annoying). I also played Triggerheart Exelica Enhanced, but the PS2 version is a little more laggy and has a simplified scoring system compared to the Dreamcast version (which I recently got).
I don't play Bemani on PS2 very much anymore, as I've been spending a lot of my time on MMOs (like Elsword) and shoot'em'ups, so when I feel like playing a Bemani game, I play a simulator since I can play something new there. I did play DistorteD around a week or two ago, though.

Though I don't play my PS2 so often, I have games that I still play every now and then.
I play Samurai Warriors 2 and I find it really fun for me even if I haven't unlocked everything YET (I also find Samurai Warriors games a lot more fun than Dynasty Warriors and Warriors Orochi IMO) . I also play The Sims 2 (including Pets and Castaway) when I feel bored just to see the houses I built and my Sims.
I have all DDR games (Max-X2) but I never got to play with them so often. It's just that I play with my controller a lot and I really wanted to get some high scores using my controller.

As a Super Monkey Ball world record holder, I agree with this.
Best recorded time ever for this stage.
I think I have more records somewhere. I'll have to check.
I still sometimes use my PS2. Not as often as I used to. I'm definitely a fan of the DDR games on there (primarily DDRMAX and DDR Extreme 2).

Only thing I remember coming back to frequently on PS2 were DDR and pop'n, but I did have times when I'd hop back on TimeSplitters and shoot monkeys.

I actually still play Star Ocean Till The End of Time as well and I have many save files too(Sphere Company's 211 floors drive the sanity out of me.)
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix are also ones I play religiously at least until ReMIX comes out later this year. I started playing Critical Mode in KH2FM about a week or so ago because I never had time to get to it while I was in college(difficult as hell too)

I still play Gran Turismo 3 (2001) and a racing game called Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3(2003). They're super fun to play and, since I grew up with them, they will always be my favorite no matter what.
Oh and of course the DDRs (X, X2, SuperNova, SuperNova 2).

Funny I was able to stumble upon this topic as I just stowed my PS2 away off to the land of forgotten memories and clutter known as my closet. I'm officially retired from my PS2 as for the last year all it did was sit there sleeping wasting away not being used. Its a Japanese 90000 slim model and I have nothing but over 35 BEMANI games for it PS1 or PS2. I'm not willing to part ways with it though so don't ask.
BTW, one of my accessories for the thing is a PS1 memory card, bought originally in 1996. Still has kept my beatmania 5thMIX save file for 12 years now.

Dark Cloud 2 and maybe every now and then DDR CS. To be honest I haven't touched it in months though.
