ZIv Dazzling Roulette of Audio Files Tournament interest check

Welcome to the Dazzling Roulette of Audio Files Tournament, otherwise known as DRAFT. Here we find out the best song amongst what's nominated here and determine which MP3 reigns supreme! Everybody uploads 8 songs (mp3) they would like to share. The files are then randomly paired against another unique poster's song in a tournament bracket. The total number of votes determines the winners of each round after a provided deadline. We continue until one song is left.

Nomination Guidelines

- To sign up, all you have to do is post a tentative songlist. It does not have to be finalized until the deadline; once it arrives however, make sure you have a download link. If you don't have one by then, I skip over you, and your nominations will not be included in DRAFT’12. -For right now, until I figure out structuring this and all, you don't need to post a songlist; just whether or not you would be interested in participating. Just looking to see how many people would try

- When you have finalized your nominations, please upload them to a file sharing website (MediaFire, Speedyshare… etc...) or if you have your own web space, feel free to host it there to upload. Once the deadline hits, the files will be downloaded and gathered onto an FTP space for convenient access. -Please don't use some obscure and dodgy uploading site if/when it's time to upload your files. As a note, I guarantee nothing about mediafire taking down due to copyright and shit, since they're pretty anal about that lately

- You MUST rank your music in order by priority. If we have over 16 participants by the deadline, I will have to cut 1 song per person starting from the bottom of the list (latest signups) upwards. The cutting is continued until we have 128 songs. -fairly obvious, if you're uncertain of wanting files in, put them lower in rank. I promise nothing on a getting cut, but I also promise nothing on a song staying if we get a lot of participants


- No genre is exempt from this competition so VGM, Classical, Metal and such are all free game. Keep in mind to actually make sure the tracks themselves are musical enough to listen to. -death screamo, or songs that go on forever and don't change at all are songs you should consider not putting in. Again I won't enforce this, if you like that kind of stuff more power to you, just keep in mind you will probably be in the minority

- Please set up your nominations in this thread as such:
ARTIST NAME(S) - TRACK TITLE (SPECIFICATIONS)

- Tracks nominated must at least be 1 minute in length and no longer than 10 minutes. Failure to comply means the track in question will be cut by default in the event more than 16 people enter. Alternatively, your nominations will not be included at all. -I may be lenient in this if a song is just barely over 10 minutes, but again I promise nothing. If it's 25 minutes long or something ridiculous however you can forget it getting in

- It is highly advisable that you do not nominate multiple tracks by the same artist. *cough* Genesis *cough* -lol whoops that was my fault yolo. I won't ban it, but if your songlist is nothing but the same artist, don't be surprised if your files lose early.
