According to the front page of Bemani Wiki, there apparently used to be a Bemani game called Marimba Tengoku. (It lists it in Japanese as マリンバ天国.) Right next to the title, there is a link that will take you to the game's homepage in parentheses. I clicked on it, but I had no idea what the hell this game is because I can't read Japanese. But, I can infer that the game was made in 2005, based on the last updates. Can anyone investigate more on this?

Marimba Tengoku is a TV plug and play game released on 2005 by Konami and PLAY-POEMS. Gameplay is much like pop'n music, but with a marimba controller (duh). You can choose from 2/3/5 buttons mode and the songlist comprised of pretty much classical remixes and anime songs.
Interface looks like pop'n music as well, including a "rival" character.
A quick Google search linked me to this video, showing gameplay: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yM1pKvn0mcE
