I've seen a few people post photos on threads, but I've never figured out how to do it, and I was kinda curious, how do you post photos in a Thread?

upload
voila
copy paste the IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards

Copy and paste the link from a raw source into the img brackets
For example:
Picture you want:
http://24.media.tumblr.com/dc79c89015f23930182acdb086fbd74f/tumblr_mgh8pqxuWz1r85q0mo3_500.gif
Add it into the img brackets:
[ img ]http://24.media.tumblr.com/dc79c89015f23930182acdb086fbd74f/tumblr_mgh8pqxuWz1r85q0mo3_500.gif[ /img ]
An voila!
You now have a flashy .gif of Zedd on the forum.

if you don't have tinypic or tumblr try photobucket.com and just follow the same steps that Aegis mentioned

By what stretch of the imagination...
I mean, how could you not have tinypic.com? It's free for anyone to come in, shoot, and done.

look... if all the same to you, I'm sticking to photobucket. All I'm doing is throwing that option out there he doesn't have to use photobucket if he doesn't want to. Now lets not start shitting up this thread.

By the way, Is their a way to size the picture on here, or do you have to edit the picture first?
For example:
(I have no idea what this is by the way) As you see, the side got cut off a bit.
edit: well I cant find one that is cut but I think you know what I mean....

add width=x to the first img bracket, in which x would be the numerical value for the pixels
as an example:
that's with width=200

You need to add space (in case that's not obvious), img width=x
You can also put a percentage, it will take up that percent of space (the limit is not 100% though, ZIv imposes some limit below 100%).
same image at 50%

Image at "100%";
(It's actually 70%.)
