I'm taking this game straight from another forum.

This is a game I invented once when I was bored and viewed the "Worse than it sounds" page on TV Tropes. One person gives an extremely whitewashed description of a historical villain and everybody else has to guess. If you get it right, you get to post a new one.

This is supposed to be a joke, not serious. Also, when you're picking people, make sure it's somebody that most people agree is an awful person. This isn't the philosophy forum. If you're a nihilist I would advise skipping this entire game.

Here's my first one:

This valiant man could be seen as one of the leaders of a grand fight against tyranny. A battle against the opression from federal government and a champion of state's rights. Although the legal entity that this man was head of state of ultimately failed in the long run, some people still choose to honor this man and the nation he led as a symbol of personal liberties and to express their pride in their heritage. Named after a great American leader, this man truely earns the name, as a defender of state liberties and their, shall we say, "old fashioned" way of getting labor work done and economic system.

TensaiKashou is right, it was Jefferson Davis.

Silver Spirit probably got it, but if not I'll say Karl Marx with his vision of communism being the perfect societal state.

Your turn Silver Spirit Tongue

Edit: I'll go instead since Silver Spirit waved his turn:

This great emperor-to-be grew up in the harshness of middle age eastern Asia. Once a war-torn tribal region of the world, this valiant man united all of these tribes into one great nation under one banner. Soon this nation began to expand and lovingly accept other nations into its borders (by force if necessary). By the time this empire was at its peak, it stretched from the pacific all the way into Europe. Why this great leader even accomplished the once thought impossible task of breaking past the Great Wall of China. Loved by all (or else), he accepted a title meaning the "Great Leader". Maintaining his empire through power, it was not sustainable and broken apart as it was divided between among his children and grandchildren.

"The eurobeat journeyman!"
Alrighty then.

Born in Manhattan, I followed my father's trade of chairmaker, Later on I joined the Masons and was elected to the House of Representatives with not much of a successful term. However, shortly afterward I became the chairman of the Democratic General Committee, of which I used my newfound power to exploit this position for all the money it was worth. In my greatest scheme I stole $200 million through tax corruption.

Who am I?

Let's try this.

Born to a humble family, grew up in humble circumstances, I joined the army to fight the invading foreign forces. I rose up the ranks of the newly-formed army and managed to counter a coup. Thus I rose to leadership. Definitely I didn't wrestle power from the presiding leader. I created a centralized, military-dominant government and planned a 30 year long plan to help my country prosper. Due to this, I improved my country's health, education and living standard. I led the country for 31 year, easily 3 times longer than anyone else have been (or will be). I ended my rule with a resignation, much to the chagrin of many people probably?

ok dropped a few hints there, should be okay lol
some things may not be accurate, i suck at history.
