Ordinarily I would defend this, after all the guy putting it up for bid has a good track record, but this does seem too good to be true considering the price.

Yeah I saw this "Korean Version."
17 sold/4 left. Only one way to find out.

Ironically, I purchased that exact game from this seller. It is the Korean version of the game and was sealed when it arrived. No scratches on the disc or anything. It also arrived pretty swiftly in the mail.
At first I thought it was too good to be true too, but I went with my instinct and was pleasantly surprised, especially due to the price.
Proof just in case

I was really considering on buying this as well. However I too questioned the validity of this. Is the game still in Japanese, or is it in Korean? (Sorry if that's a dumb question, but I can read Japanese better than I can read Korean) More so, obviously, does it play like it should? If so, I might buy it for my Japanese PS2 considering the region is the same (I believe).

The korean rating system's little illustrations of sex, violence and drugs are so cute that they make it superior to the Japanese product in every way.

@SynZidane: Oh that's great to hear! Didn't expect someone here to experience it first hand.
@Parafox: According to the description of the item, the manual and whatnot is in Korean, but the game itself is still in Japanese.
But this raises another question for me: will this work on a Japanese PS2? My quick research points to yes it will work, but I can't be too sure.

Since it's NTSC-J, it will surely work on a japanese PS2.

You see, I read that but I still think it's kind of funny. If I remember correctly, Beatmania IIDX: Empress had an official release in South Korea, so I'm not doubting that there was a Korean version. However at this price and a NEW unopened copy, I still have my doubts. I think it's incredibly weird that although it's a Korean game, it's still in Japanese. Wouldn't you at least expect a Korean version of the game to be in Korean? I could just be spewing out nonsense considering I'm not sure how they handled IIDX CS versions in Korea previously, and I do know that Beatmania is still from Japan and runs on the same region, but still, seems kinda fishy.
However if it plays like it should, I'm going to try and buy it. Although I would much prefer a Japanese version (box and manual) to ensure that it's authentic, $50 for a try at a new game that another user has confirmed about doesn't seem like too much of a sacrifice.

Aren't all of the current "Asian" released of IIDX and DDR AC still all in Japanese/English?
I know the older beatmania/IIDX games were released in Korea as "beatstage" and had menu and instruction functions in Korean as seen in screenshots.

Ahh, that clears some things up. Thanks!
Also, on a note for searching up Beatmania deals.

I think this is pretty good, although hefty because you can't pay for each game separately. These games run around for about $100 if you're lucky, and assuming it's 3rd style to Empress, that's a pretty good deal.

If you're paying anything close to 100 for 3rd style, or even up to 10th style, you are seriously ripping yourself off.

Well correction, I meant that usually 12th style and up run pretty pricey nowadays.
