This post will appear on the first page!

This is a product I'll try to work on with spare time.

It's DDRMAX4, a new DDRMAX. It will have around 4 songs I created by myself, some songs that I turn into a DDR, some classic ones you may know, and if I figure it out, it will have unlockable songs...and a boss one.

I've finished folder 2, containing the revived songs;

A MINUTE (Extended Mix) - From DDRMAX2 7th MIX Arcade *

AM-3P - From DDR 2nd MIX

AM-3P (303BASSMIX) - From DDR Konamix

DO YOU REMEMBER ME - From DDRMAX 6th MIX

DROP THE BOMB - From DDR 3rd MIX

DROP THE BOMB - From DDRMAX USA

DYNAMITE RAVE - From DDR 3rd MIX

DYNAMITE RAVE (Down Bird SOTA MIX) - From DDRMAX USA

FANTASY - From DDRMAX2 7th MIX

Firefly - From DDRMAX 6th MIX

HYPNOTIC CRISIS - From DDR 4th MIX

IT'S RAINING MEN (Almighty Mix) - From DDRMAX2 7th MIX Arcade/Dancing Stage Fusion *

LOOK AT US (Daddy DJ Remix) - From DDRMAX2 7th MIX

MORE THAN I NEEDED TO KNOW - From DDRMAX2 7th MIX Arcade *

never let you down - From DDR 4th MIX

NOTHING GONNA STOP (Dance Mania Mix) - From DDRMAX2 7th MIX

Silent Hill - From DDR 3rd MIX

SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW - From DDRMAX 6th MIX

TELEPHONE OPERATOR (Club MIX) - From DDRMAX 6th MIX

THE REFLEX - From DDRMAX2 7th MIX

THERE YOU'LL BE - From DDRMAX2 7th Mix Arcade/DDR Extreme USA *

WAKA LAKA - From DDRMAX2 7th MIX **

YOZORA NO MUKO - From DDRMAX 6th MIX

--

All of these are from DDR 2nd MIX to DDRMAX2 7th Mix (Arcade or home).

* Since they need some home version love, (even in THERE YOU'LL BE and IT'S RAINING MEN are already used in home versions) A MINUTE, MORE THAN I NEEDED TO KNOW, THERE YOU'LL BE, and IT'S RAINING MEN are all revived together in DDRMAX4.

** The Waka Laka isn't the one you are thinking of... It's the e=mc2 mix in DDRMAX2, HOWEVER, it's the BUBBLE mix in DDRMAX4.

So yeah. That's what I have so far.

Interesting is the fact you're giving underrated songs a second chance which is great, and I can't wait to see the originals you have planned for DDRMAX4, and while you're doing that I really want to fix DDRMAX3 by changing some sync issues, possible cuts (slight), and revised/new stepcharts based on a bit of the modern games, but mostly with the Extreme era of stepcharts.

Can't wait to see a preview.

I am NOT the creator of DDRMAX3, but I would like to make some alterations to that pack, as well as add some new challenge charts if necessary.

QUESTION:

If there's going to be a theme, will it be only for 3.9, or are you going to use it for SM5?

Judging by the unlock syntax, I'd say he's using either 3.9 or the beware/MAX3 mod. Speaking of which, no Arcade DDR ever hid revivals, so you might want to reconsider which songs you lock...

Pokémon World 2000 - Nintendo (Don't know specific artist)

Ok I think this is the Orange Island Adventures (or League). If your doing the Movie version its done by Jonathan Peters and Tommy Musto Performed by Youngstown Feat. Nobody's Angel. The TV version was done by Hirokazu Tanaka (I think, but this might be for the Japanese intros and not the US intro). I hope this info is useful.

There's a kaleidoscope cube with limbs and a face in my icon.

Anyway, progress has begun on Pokémon World. I made the file in 2010, but didn't finish it. Please don't blame me if the steps are weird.

I want the gameplay to be like DDR EXTREME USA.

So the visualizations will be widescreen and cropped to remove the black bars. I might also fix some color mistakes.

SCREENSHOT!

It's me working on the visualizations and light steps, the first ones. (Beginner steps suck and are time consuming)

http://images.wikia.com/ddrmax2/images/1/11/Screen00001.jpg

Fact; If you see a FEW visualizations with bad quality, it means they are the full versions I ripped off of credits of various games.

You might see AT LEAST;

Twirling Boy.avi

Telephone Operator.avi

------------------

---------------

Light mode of Pokémon World and Raining Sunshine have been finished.

So far, Raining Sunshine's Standard steps are being worked on.

So far, the exclusive songs in my mind are...

Me; We Will Carry On The Beat Now, Space Shaker, New Growth

Scooch; For Sure (Containing an animated music video of my OC Pokémon :3), The Best Is Yet To Come, NEVER STOP BELIEVIN' (Needs 55 points to be unlocked)

Pop songs; We R Who We R (Ke$ha), Telephone, Moves Like Jagger, Feel Good Inc., Raining Sunshine, All I Ever Wanted

Keno9988 (A friend of mine on YouTube); Party in he Pucheot, Lost in Life (Needs 90 points to be unlocked), DEVASTATING DISAPPEARS (Needs 165 points to be unlocked)

Dancing Stage Fusion (For America to play the songs too); Chihuahua 2002, (fan made) Chihuahua 2002 From Nonstop Megamix (Needs 45 points to be unlocked), Freak Like Me, SEXIEST MAN IN JAMAICA

Pokémon; High Touch 2009, Pokémon World

Misc. Songs; HAPPINESS (Contains animated music video involving Happy Tree Friends, also needs 60 points to be unlocked), MR. BLUE SKY (Needs 5 points to be unlocked, also the first song you unlock), Chain Reaction (Contains animated music video of a chain reaction, also needs 130 points to be unlocked), Lonely Storm, Crystal Sea, DISCO PRINCE, De??aM?X (will be revealed soon, and it needs 100 points to unlock) ?????? ??????? (Cannot be revealed yet, also needs 430 points to unlock, and the last unlocked song)

Dancing Stage Euromix 2 Arcade Songs (Once again, for America ones); I WANT YOU TO WANT ME, Aaron's Party (Come Get It) (Needs 15 points to be unlocked), STOMP (Needs 10 points to be unlocked), CARIBBEAN QUEEN

RAINING SUNSHINE HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN FINISHED!

--------------------

--------------------

Is there a kaleidoscope cube with limbs and a face in my icon?

There is? Alrighty. :3 (I animated it myself. Go to my DDR channel, SammyMusicVideos, to see it in action.)

Anyway, I finished Raining Sunshine, now I need Pokémon World. Then I'll start sketching the other songs.

So far, Pokémon World, Telephone, Disco Prince, and Mr. Blue Sky are all under production.

-------------------------------

-------------------------------

-------------------------------

-------------------------------

DDRMAX4 will have a few visualizations animated by ME.

I made two, both which are used in "DISCO PRINCE".

http://images.wikia.com/ddrmax2/images/d/de/Screen00003.jpg

This one is called "Speedometer", showing a speedometer with a colorful background. The graphic behind the background is the same ones used in the Rotating Kaleidoscope Cylinders. You can see the cameo of Dance7.avi in this picture, I.E Dancing Beginner Characters. This is original, and I thought of it while making a music video with entirely original visualizations. I might use some of them, but only SOME.

http://images.wikia.com/ddrmax2/images/1/16/Screen00004.jpg

This one is called CuzKlo Spin, involving two characters I made spinning. In 2011, I always liked to visualize my characters in a BGMovie. With me having a series involving them (Look at it in 2013, at least 2 will be there) on my main YouTube SammyShinx (My DDR one is SammyMusicVideos) and learning how to animate them, I'm PARTIALLY fullfilling this.

CuzKlo are 3-letter abbravations for their name. "Cuz" =/= Cuzco =/= Pink boy / "Klo" =/= Klonea =/= Blue girl

This visualization will be used in HAPPINESS, since they ARE Happy Tree Kind. Also, HAPPINESS will no longer have ONLY exclusive animated videos. However, it will have this visualization along with another one involving these two. :3 You can see it's name in the image along with ANOTHER cameo being Sphere2.avi, A.K.A Tan Jumping Spheres. Fact; Tan Jumping Spheres in DDRMAX 4 is different than the one you have. I figured out a way to loop it so it goes to the music well.

More will follow perhaps.

Kind of nit picky, but if you're going to label the revivals according to where they came from in the game (I don't care how you label them in the thread) please get the debut mix correct. AM-3P 303-bass mix, Dyanamite Rave Down Bird Sota, and Drop the Bomb SySf mix were in other games before 7th mix CS. Also "Fireflies" from 6th Mix would be Firefly by BeForU.

I don't know what they were used in BEFORE DDRMAX2. :/

Also, there are no double steps. They are time-consuming. And I never play double mode.

Drop The Bomb remix and Dynamite Rave remix are from DDRMax US.

AM-3P remix is in Konamix, but I'm not 100% certain if it debuted there or not.

...no. Sorry, but I'm right. DDRMAX US came out October 2002, and DDRMAX2 7th MIX JP came out March 2002.

On the right sidebar of the wiki page, it lists the release dates for AC and CS, March 27, 2002 and April 24 2003 respectively. I just wanted to mention this in case you took another look. Technically both of you are right, just on different versions of the game.

Btw, good luck with your pack, seems interesting.
