Looks like echospherics from korea just cleared beginner as well. I think there is a good chance we have a line out coming shortly of the complete song.

Very impressive, Silverhawke! Wonder how long it will take for the next clear on Basic.

Even though we've seen it.. It looks amazing for it to be passed still.

DR.D needs to pass it now. You could get something for passing it.

3rd in the world, first in Japan. I'm more interested in the person who got past the stop on 1x.

@VR0:
- I'm not sure how you thought that was mine, especially given the comment that I made (it's from @ddr_atsu19 - they were the one who reached 957k back on the 9th)
- It's not even the highest score - that one was 32 perfects, Silverhawke's was 21.
- You misspelt my handle.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't this mean that the world record for OT"P"Beginner is the same as the record on POSSESSIONHeavy (999790)? Who'd have thought an 8 could be as difficult as a 17? Tongue
PFCing a 8 is better than like, 99.99% of people in the world, right?

once it's unlocked for normal play I'm pretty sure someone would SDP or even MFC the beginner chart.

Turn off the PFC requirement and make it normally available

Probably single digit perfect counts if someone would bother grinding it after that

Did anything in particular happen after beating it? Like how you unlock Dark Rinon after clearing phase 1 and how it said to prepare for the next phase?

Late congrats Hawke-Sempai!.

I really liked the ending of the song and it could give a lot of difficult and exciting choices for Heavy and Challenge please Konami don't screw it.

Pardon if I interfere with this but...

Something like that would probably occur only from a light chart and beyond. It's true that Silverhawke managed to clear the beginner chart (and very late congratulations for that! Big Grin), but it's also true that's a beginner chart. Based on my experience from HOTTEST PARTY 3, in-game events shouldn't occur at beginner difficulty

For something like that I guess we'd have to clear the light chart for OTP...or in the worst of the cases standard.

Which makes me wonder...has someone even passed that stream after the stop?

On Difficult, I believe it was echospherics who got past the stop... and failed on the second step afterwards.
Dr.D has done Basic up to the 420 (?) BPM speedup, at which point bracket stomping doesn't really cut it and it's going to be a nightmare to read (that, or it's going to require serious accuracy on a low-speed for the intro).

I think the way forward is probably trying to get the intro on 1.5x or something that slow, but much easier said than done. Otherwise, it's going to be step-by-step grinding and memorizing the 420 BPM part, and that will be pretty slow.

I can't play the chart myself but I don't know why it is hard for people to make through that intro at x1.5
Aside the fact is mashed up, the steps are not hard at all and, not to mention, it is probably the easiest part to master as it is the first of the song

Then idk I'm no master

It's very hard to time at low speeds. If they didn't have to PFC it, it'd be no problem, but the frames between Perfect and Great are so close together it's difficult to time by sight. Try PFC'ing You or some other very slow song on 0.5x.
