It's not actually 150 BPM. It's constant 160 then multiples of 165 (for the speed up/slowdown section.)It seems my post a page or two back got ignored or disregarded

Yup, just saw that. I BPM tapped it the other day and the next gimmick seemed to be slightly faster than 160 (around 165). I guess it's not as I thought it was.
It's still not 150, though.

So looks like that "wavey" section is consistent and then becomes steady afterwards. Based on the score, echospherics is just shy of halfway through the number of steps in the chart, after about a minute and 5 seconds into the song. Hopefully hearing even further in the song will help others reach that point and beyond!

The more I hear of this song the more I like it, the section at the freeze wave sounds amazing to me. It really feels like Tag is trying to channel Naoki with this one.

I don't like the whole TAG is channeling NAOKI or acting like him. This isn't Naoki's energy influence anymore and this is TAG's own thing. I applaud him for giving us an actual challenge and a really kick ass song to boot.
Looks like he might be a halfway decent sound director after all. Please make more songs like this.

I do have to agree with this post. These challenges are really interesting and stuff and I would kill to see more of it in the near future.

I mean, its definitely a Tag song, but it feels like an old school DDR boss song. Its a compliment to his song for sure.

I still can't imagine switching from 200 to 160 and still sticking on all perfects, and it's insane that echospherics and Dr.D can. It's such a weird BPM change...

I like how everyone had been disappointed in TAG... and then RDI/OTP came out and the universe is a happy place again.
Goofy theory but it makes me imagine he was just completely closed off from DDR in order to create the ultimate song or something.
I can't follow all this pixel/light analysis for beans but the level of team effort/willingness to be involved to beat this song is fun to watch. :3
