I have a feeling the gimmick will be similar towards Super Fantasy. Different game yeah, but the gimmick is looking extremely similar towards the jumps and the gimmicks seems to be entirely beat based. You can tell from the first jump it speeds up and then it slows down to the according jump afterwords which Dr.Dvids failed. It also doesn't help DDR is taking some inspiration from that game with a few gimmicks anyway. >>;

Or I could be wrong and it could be some really disoriented jumps. Food for thought.

Valkyrie dimension took a long time primarily because of the twisty back-and-forth crossover stream at the end which no one could 'sightread' FC (word in quotes since we could see a few steps ahead each time someone failed). The part before that wasn't quite as bad once it was learned. What I'm afraid of for OT"P" is if there's some sequence of erratic stops right at the end just like those of Egoism 440 or something. Take a look at this video and imagine trying to sightread PFC that ending, one sightread attempt at a time where one Great is a fail. Sure the chart's only a 13, and it's only 4th notes on the beat. But the best we could reasonably hope for given an ending like that would be getting past one stop at a time (Player #1 fails on the first stop, Player #2 learns it and fails on the second stop, Player #3 learns that and fails on the third stop...), and that's only if everyone plays optimally. And there's seven stops, or eight if you count the nonexistent one at the end that looks like it should belong to the pattern but doesn't (and causes the player in the video to fail). We only got an Egoism 440 FC so quickly because the Extra Stage (not Encore Stage) requirements allowed one person to get through all seven/eight stop patterns in one sightread attempt, so that everyone else who played next could learn all of them at once. Trying to learn that pattern one stop at a time would be horrendous.

Here's a video (lineout) that I suppose proves that it is now possible to play Max.(period) and get OT"P" for Encore Stage. Dr.D, maybe this could be useful for learning how to play on 3x Wave?

Both players fail on the speedup after the stop. No new info.

Heh, Dr.D is still the only one we've seen clear the speedup, and consistently at that. Amazing, Dr.D, I can't believe the progress you've made! Also thanks for the line-out, really digging the song!
