Very impressive sir, keep it up! Why do I have a feeling there will be a 400 BPM speed-up to throw at us?

You got the beat.
You got the song.
You can't do no wrong.

Song sounds surprisingly good, definitely sounds like a 'final boss'.

What I'm observing seem to imply that the 8ths afterwards follow the rhythms of the 12ths.

From this to this is 6 frames.
http://i.imgur.com/4iLzXkg.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/ynTOrAD.png

From this to the next receptor "blink" (receptors "blink" on 8ths instead of 4ths for this song) also took 6 frames.

So, some of the following 8ths are actually 200bpm 12ths...

Do you know what's really worrying

Over 40 seconds into the song, and he has only hit 28% of the arrows

The ending of this basic chart is going to have a LOT of arrows.

So can it be confirmed if where I got the great was in fact at a slow down? I know I felt like a slow down just happened when I got the great cause which is why I mentioned the next gimmick. I felt on sync with 200 still so it would explain a lot if there is in fact a slow down there. If there is, any way to predict the BPM?

I might try again on Wednesday and hopefully I can keep getting farther like I have seemed to be doing so far but I hope for some more info on the song first.

the BPM is most likely 150bpm. just follow the 12ths' rhythm just before that and you ought to be fine.

You can see the targets flash twice right after the Great, and 11 frames pass between them. With only the duration of 1 beat visible it's hard to pinpoint anything, but it bounds the BPM between 150 and 180 (harmonic average ~164 or so). Slowdown gimmick confirmed.
And of course, this is another gimmick that would only really screw you up if you were going for a PFC and not an FC. Konami...http://z5.ifrm.com/5908/85/0/e5009723//e5009723.gif

@Silverhawke: Those would be the equivalent of 200 bpm "6ths", not 12ths (which implies 3 per beat instead of 3 spaced over 2 beats).

Update:

So I said I wouldn't count pixels earlier, but in this case the faster speed makes it worthwhile.

http://i.imgur.com/s10q3zC.png

The doubled images reflect the 30fps camera trying to keep track of a 60fps screen, so the distance between the lines shows how far they move in 1/60 second.

On the left, from before the slowdown, the arrow moves 18 pixels. On the right, it only moves 12 pixels. Of course there's double the room for rounding error, in both in the drawing of the lines and in the camera exposure itself, but assuming the part before the slowdown is exactly 200bpm, the part after the slowdown is bounded between 115 and 153bpm.

Looks like Silverhawke's guess of 150 BPM (the 8ths have the same timing as the 12ths right before them) is pretty accurate.
