from what i'm observing, i don't think Wadatsumi has a Challenge chart. so i don't think any of the crossovers will get Challenge charts... not quite sure though since i haven't seen the other songs. though i'm seeing that Truare! doesn't have Challenge chart so... yeah. (also it doesn't look like Endorphin has a challenge chart either)

i'm getting really annoyed at the fact that konami adds really unnecessary speed changes to certain songs on ddr

like seriously the BPM changes in funky summer beach aren't needed at all

I get that the event is called Boss on Parade but yeah I've seen a few things in this event that seem like they did it just to make things harder just to do it. I've never heard of Funky Summer Beach until now but I think the BPM changes are fine in it, but holy hell did they botch Remain.

Ive come up with a theory for this Boss on Parade deal going on now. I feel like the first 5 songs were "Parading" toward us from other games (GFDM, Jubeat, IIDX, Pop'n, and Reflec Beat).
After hearing the Truare and given it a little thought, I wonder if the songs we get are going to "Parade" to the other games later on? Kind of making this one huge crossover even, but we get the songs first this time instead.

If this was really a BEMANI-wide event it would never start with DDR. DDR is too dead to have that much of an impact on the other games.

I'm ok with the bpm changes in Remain. Just because if the chart would have the same bpm the entire song, it would be not challenging at all, and maybe a little boring. I have so much fun trying to read the slowdown, and the speedrun really surprised me.

I would think if it was a BEMANI-wide event, it would have been announced as that. I do agree with the idea of with starting it with DDR to possibly shoot some life into a game that's seeing little to know playtime.

With how much the new content for the game is nice, it goes back to the main issue people are having with DDR. There's still little to know original content for the game. This event much like some of the others before it seems like it's Konami saying, "Well we got nothing new planed for DDR at this time, so lets just cross over some BEMANI songs and some songs from HP2 just to keep people occupied until we think of something."
