Waiting for Grand Thaw.

Out of the few songs I've decided to listen to on nicovideo (search BOF2012) most of them seem really good. Also, I think the ace song for the Stoic Sounds team might be Thurisaz from Panzer Force 5thmix, which would be really awesome. ATMBZK has a multiplex breakbeats remix, so that could be nice (I'm thinking/hoping it's something like a remix of Exception hearts), and it looks like the ace song for his team may be under an alias for Nekomimi Mahoutsukai.
q/stol, BACO, and SABREMISSLE(cybermiso) also have their own teams, so there's bound to be something good there.
削除 has also assembled the overpowered team 234 Trident that includes himself, void, and xi.

And deadblue238 made like 6 BGA's for BOF2012 songs according to his nicovideo mylist.

BUMP: It has now started; BMS files can be downloaded. Also, it appears all of my guesses above were correct.

I've been absolutely obsessed with this particular track/BGA combination since I first saw it. Up there for most combinational impact I've seen ever, let alone BOF. so goooooood

And the epic xi "boss song" of this BOF is surprisingly jazzy/swingy for some reason, like something you would probably see in GF/DM.
Here's Valhalla, a really refreshing change compared to the general direction of this contest, which seems to be heading to dubstep for some reason. Look up songs like Oracle Machine or Infinite Galaxy for example.

Toki's video is AWEEEEEESOME, when the 12ths come in, the video makes it feel all energetic, loving the Void one too with the 3D character, i hear an altersist sample (i think other samples too from his previous stuff)

Fun charts (so far):

Not Valhalla [a] or [k] - xi makes great songs, but I've never been fond of the charts. Tendency to be awkward/put random bs that makes them higher in level than what they're rated.

True. Although I can pretty much only clear Aventyr [h], since the last 4 measures of the Another chart are seriously annoying. Might hard clear it though. I agree with Valhalla not being fun. Seriously, does every xi song have to have the awkward 24ths/32nds in its chart that make it really annoying? It's the reason why I can't clear Parousia [a] from last year's BOF. Anyways, here's another chart I find enjoyable (except for those scratches):

I managed Valhalla [a] and [k] on the sight read, but damn I was just really lucky with the randoms. They're low/mid-high overjoy charts without random. Happy with the 9x% AAA on [h] and the AA on [a]... for now.

Grand Thaw tends to over-rate the long note charts. Aeventyr SC is cake compared to MX, though they're not as hard as say... Flesvelka MX.

I'll get Alicia later on.

I think i'ma download LR2 and just keep a collection of void, triostar, myatinia stuff, and that other cool song up thar :3

One thing you gotta love about events like this is the amount of love they put into every aspect (at least the best entries). At this rate, I'm more excited for BMS of Fighters than an official IIDX style.

yea i agree, I'm always suprised with the video's details, its cool watching all the people grow as artists aswell.

Some other charts that I found fun were Say A Vengeance [ANOTHER], MA.DA.KA.NA. MAKAIWARS (仮) [SP NORMAL/HYPER], and 幸せの在り方 -fall into the Morion- [ANOTHER]. I've only gotten around 20-30 songs though, and I intend to get more when I play again.

Yeah, agree with Say a Vengeance. Only have 10 songs so far, couldn't play much due to finals.
In before chat review ala DDREvolved simfile competitions.

I think Lieselotte is either a really hard 10 or an easy 11. Also agrees with Say a Vengeance. It's fun for the same reason Knock It Off from BOF2011 was fun. Also, here's another chart/song I found fun: Stardust Apoptosis (video below, Hyper chart)
