Any open-source jubeat emulators out there?

I want to tinker with the game mechanics to allow for multi-color notes in a song, like a DDR Solo/Vivid/Rainbow mod.

I don't have enough programming know-how to build an app from the ground up, so it's easier if I can just work off of something already out there.

The only one I've heard of is jubeat analyzer, but I don't know if it's open source, or even how to use it.

Someone's nice enough to put up English how to use bits. Not full help, but it's all we've got.

Actually, there's another emulator:

Youbeat

No idea how good it is, but I found one anyway.
