Well, the new gameplay looks pretty similar to TECHNIKA just that it has this typical Elite Beat Agents/osu! style in it too

What I said a lot earlier in the FB post was that it's still technika without the horizontal divider and moving vertical line.
let me get it...
let me get it...

new one is just like the old one with out the moving line and the midscreen divider, and instead of a moving line we have those osu like ripples.
so pretty much almost nothing changed gameplay wise.

Normally i'd say how the game isn't bad and that it has potential, but you could at least try to pretend you're not ripping off a successful franchise.

Remember, DJMax started out as a beatmania clone and eventually evolved into its own well respected series. Cytus was called a TECHNIKA clone at first and now the community is thriving, they're having live concerts even. Rhythmix has the potential to do the same, start out as a clone / rip-off or whatever you wish to call and then grow and evolve into its own series entirely.
I personally hope for an Android version in the future and look forward to playing it at some point.

Also, at least there's a TECHNIKA like game coming soon. I've really wanted this to happen for quite a while. I'll check this out when it's released.

The game will be released on Nov. 1 and again the whole game system has been changed a bit. It seems that Pentavision only has the patents for the Technika gameplay in USA, UK, Japan and Korea. This means these countries get the new gameplay but in a different title: Rhythmanix
For all the other countries, the old Technika gameplay gets released normally as Rhythmix

Songs sound okay, not much of my tastes though. (Except CRITICAL, this one sounds awesome!)
Also, same problem here every time I post two YouTube videos in one post.

I bought the game and I must say, the gameplay is nice. Probably because it's Technika
What I'm disappointed about however is the music choice. Most of them are just technofied classic songs. Also, the music packs are quite expensive, costing about 3.- Sfr for four songs. The songs aren't included in the app and have to be really downloaded. So this is not a cheap in-game DLC thing. I don't really know exactly what styles the music packs are referred as.
The included songs
[Classical Remixed] - CanCan (Lv. 1, 3, 5, 12)
[Classic] - Minuet (Lv. 1, 2, 4, 7)
[Epic Disco] - Russian Dance (Lv. 1, 2, 7, 10)
[Piano Classic] - Sonatine 1 (Lv. 2, 3, 5, 8)
[Classical Remix] - William Tell (Lv. 1, 3, 8, 12)
[Tech House] - Woo! (Lv. 1, 3, 4, 11)
Rhythmix Music Pack 1
Sawasdee (Lv. 2, 4, 6, 11, 13)
The Second Planet (Lv. 2, 3, 6, 11, 14)
BuGong'n Koala Part. 1 (Lv. 1, 2, 4, 6, 9)
Rock the Place (Lv. 2, 4, 8, 10)
Rhythmix Music Pack 2
Sonatine 2 (Lv. 1, 3, 5, 7, 12)
Tetrix (Lv. 3, 4, 8, 12, 15)
Premium Love (Lv. 1, 4, 6, 8, 10)
Critical (Lv. 5, 9, 11, 14, 18)

The one thing I am raging mad at is that they have a remix of Korobeiniki and called it "Tetrix". I came up with that with my remix. I'm mad. [/kidding] Heheh. Actually I just find that a bit amusing. XD
I think it's because I'm just too tired, but I'm just having a hard time with the very hard mode. But I like it. Just gonna take some time to get used to not seeing a moving bar.

Has anyone noticed that everywhere in Rhythmanix, it still calls itself Rhythmix, except for the title screen logo?

Yes, it seems they only bothered with changing the title at the title screen and in the app store, but I can sort of understand why they would leave it like this.

Wait, they kept the Technika gameplay in certain regions? That's hilarious.
Which region is the easiest/cheapest to obtain the Technika like version? Right now I'm thinking of making a New Zealand account since that region gets everything first anyway.

Well, there are supposed to be more music packs coming out, probably won't be another classic remix. However, there are some songs I'm looking forward to, like encX's "ONE DAY". That chart looks Crazy! The song itself too! What I'm disappointed about however is the music choice. Most of them are just technofied classic songs. $2.99 isn't too much to ask, but for 4 songs it's okay I guess. It's probably the mediocre songs in these packs seems like its too much.
Also, can anyone confirm "EXTREME" difficulty on the iPhone version? The screenshots shows that there is but I doubt it due to device limitations.

WELP.
Rhythmanix is going to be taken down from the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, and Korea App Stores on December 17 due to selling poorly and being repeatedly mentioned as inferior to Rhythmix by players on the Facebook page. Rhythmix will become free for all other App Stores starting December 20.
This is good news for those who don't mind making, say, a Thailand App Store account. This is very bad news for anyone in the Rhythmanix region who bothered giving this Technika clone a chance.
