You know in Stepmania/DDR in EXP and CHA charts, what do you think seems easier to you?

That really depends, how fast are the crossovers or streams? And some of the streams can have crossovers in them...

Crossovers and crossups are easier. Forget that crappy healing-d-vision death run

I'd say streams since crossovers confuse me.

Crossovers are a tiny bit difficult, but so are streams depending on speed and i'd say "voltage" of the stream or whatever. Basically the intensity of how the stream and/or crossover is implemented in the song chart.

So is DEGRS .

Most of DEGRS is doublesteps, rather than crossovers, though...

For streams, i'm comfortable up to around 200BPM for straight 8ths, provided that they're not difficult crossovers or jumps. I get worn down fast if streams are much faster than 210-220ish. (Except for DROP OUT's death run. That's fairly easy, but NGO's death run, forget it!)I think crossovers suck for the most part, but some songs need that extra challenging step.
Streams FTW!

I like crossovers personally if they're implemented right, mostly because I like to twist
I don't really want to see another Second Heaven Oni remake though :/

I guess streams, though crossovers aren't too bad to me. Up around 400 BPM is where they become an issue for me.

Ever since I got started passing 12s on ITG, I would have to say streams. I don't even think to do crossovers because they decrease my PA.
However, the faster crossovers on the new boss songs are much harder to do with stream technique so I usually end up bs-ing the section(like Healing-D-Vision and Possession right before the last set of jumps).

Streams I guess. Back when I used to play more actively, I had few problems on passing streamy charts.
(that was before I had access to a SuperNOVA machine though, and I haven't played on pad many recent boss songs)

Streams, they aren't as annoying as crossovers at higher bpms.

At the same speed, streams, obviously. (Since 200+ BPM 16th crossovers sound like fun.)
That being said, I do like to indulge in a nice, telegraphed spin or some 8th crossovers once in a while. But streams are still easier.

Streams. I tend to doublestep crossovers cuz I can't do 'em while maintaining my MA.
I can still do stuff like NGO and SABER WING remix though.

The only hardship I have with streams is candle steps. I've been working to no bar longer streams, but when I see any section involving a cross over the center, I usually end up grabbing the bar.
I will say that I do enjoy trying crossovers no bar because they look impressive to spectators.

In terms of playing for combo/passing, I like both, but crossovers can make a chart a lot more fun, just because of the twisting. Of course that only applies up until the 200BPM mark, after that I'd prefer streams by far since I'm not that good at faster songs. (Although I do get a kick out of attempting the death-run at the end of NGO :hea
Also, for PA, streams > crossovers for me too.
