At Z-I-v we try to be perfect making the official sims, but occasionally the odd mistake or twelve gets through. If anybody notices a mistake in a sim, be it in the .sm file or in the display on-site, mention it in here, tell us what it should be and we'll do our best to correct it.

I thought that's what Official Simfile Notifications was for?

Outer Limits Akira Ishihara remix
The whole simfile is off by one measure. The steps need to start at measure 4 instead of measure 5
volcano
In Doubles
, there is a rest on beat 2 of measure 57 that should not be there. That rest throws the rest of the simfile off. After correcting this error, measure 89 needs to be corrected so that the steps resume at beat one of measure 89.
wild rush PCM remix
Singles
is missing a measure's worth of steps at around the measure 42 area.
Here is a video showing the complete chart: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4fARSYMthk
Edit: hey, it looks like I can still update the Xbox files, so I'll go ahead and do that >_>

Not quite an error, but multiple simfiles from CS mixes are still in old quality MP3. Even if we couldn't get them from the arcade, some made it to PS2 mixes with 320 kb/s audio, e.g. LOVE IS ORANGE (X2 US), INSIDE YOUR HEART (SN2 JP)

Ecstasy
Doubles
The steps after the second pause are incorrectly placed. It should be the same as the singles chart. Here's a picture of what it SHOULD be: http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/viewpicture.php?pictureid=22552

Here's another sneaky one: the rhythm in measure 37 of Trim ESP (current simfile database version) should be x-xx-xx-, like it is in previous parallel jump sections, instead of x--xxxx-.

It's not necessarily stepchart-related, but the DDR X2 (Arcade) group needs an auto-pack update. I was configuring SM for a friend's new computer, and I noticed that all of the songs in it featured in X2 (PS2) and Universe 3 were omitted from the arcade pack, and the updated X2 (PS2) and Universe 3 packs don't contain them anymore either...
I got them set up, one songzip at a time, but what a bugger!!

What about SHAKE YOUR BOOTY from DDR 4thMIX AC? I don't want to be stupid but that song is REALLY OFF synced in the original game? Is there any way to fix it?. Same happens with Let's Dance from DDR STR!KE
P.D. Hope you understand me, I've never played 4thMIX AC and never played it when we had a 5thMIX AC in my city.

Like Nighttime said, the DDR X2 pack needs to be updated. I recently restored my laptop to factory reset and downloaded packs and found out I has no Kimono Princess. Just something to remind someone :p

And besides, I sent someone through pm some updates of I'm So Happy and Theory of Eternity ripped from DDR X3 data (ogg and official charts). They are still not updated yet. Download links are also found in each simfile page's comment section.

I Need You from DDRMAX2 is a bit offsync and drifts too.
I got an offset of 0.060 (is currently 0.087). But even then, the arrows seemed too early towards the end. Then I noticed that the actual BPM is different from the display BPM, so I set it to 140 even and it was perfect (is currently 140.040).

Gradiusic Cyber (and the Ultramix version) have significant BPM errors-- the song speeds up from 159.?? to 167 for 3 1/3 beats before the monster roar, then back to 160, as seen in this video (of the IIDX chart):
Personally fixed it in my own game and it seems to sync fine otherwise. 160 APPEARS okay for the initial value but the video seems to say otherwise.
Haven't checked the Club Another, it might have the same problem?
