Does anybody want a WiiU?

After E3's rather disappointing presentation of the WiiU and it's new lineup of software, does anybody still want one when it comes out?

I think I may get one someday, but not right away as i'd be waiting for top-tier AAA titles such as Super Smash Bros. a new Metroid and/or Zelda to come out. Having just Mario for the major first-party IP doesn't seem like enough to make the WiiU a worthy purchase (but I do like the sound of playing 1080p first party Nintendo games. *looks at Metroid and Zelda in HD, drools...* )

And I just bought a Wii when DDR II came out, so i'm still deciding.

What about the rest of you?

I'm selling my crashy ps3 for one, plus i'd rather have a system that allows me to play a Mario game than anything SONY has to offer :3
plus with it being HD and all, most games released on ps3 / 360 will be released on the U anyway.

Nuuuu, just theres not been anything recently thats interested me, and my ps3 keeps freezing up so i'm mad at them, i email and they're all "ring this number" and i;m all "that cost money" and they rang me, and then they were all "it'd cost £100 to replace" D:!!!

Granted, I'm not buying one at launch, but I'm probably still going to end up getting one at one point.

I'm not picking a WiiU yet, currently there aren't enough games that interest me to make me consider to buy one.

Besides I barely have time to play games these days Maybe next summer break...

btw, mario, pikmin were 720p i think, the games being releaed with Wii U were all in 720 instead of 1080 (i read on ign)

Has anybody heard the rumor about a Starfox/Metroid crossover game? Too bad it didn't come true. I would of SO picked that up if it were for real.

I would of bought it as well. It would have been interesting to switch between different game mechanics for the two characters. Though, given the amount of information from the rumour, the game would have been too large for the system to handle.

Pretty much, you play as a humanoid who crash-lands on an alien planet and then enslaves its adorable life-forms/sends them to their deaths in order to 1) gather the parts to his spaceship to return home or 2) gather enough "treasure" (which is really things like bottle caps or buttons) to pay off a debt.

A few days after E3, IGN said it cost $200 to make, 150 to make the console and 50 to make the tablet, then yesterday (or the day before) ign said that it may cost £270 in the UK, I think it'll be a good system, they said about multiplayer games that arent multiplayer, you can invite a friend to play, so DDR multiplayer online i guess? that'd be cool, sharing scores, battles and other bits :3
also you're able to take screenshots with whatever game your playing, so you could take them on your grade and upload.

Wii U so far looks cool, but nothing on it has impressed me to the point I want to go and buy it. I think I'm well with my PS3 for the time being

The WiiU looks interesting although I have a feeling I'm just going to buy it for the new Smash Bros (Brawl is the ONLY game I own for the Wii, and I bought it 5 years ago...). I wouldn't be surprised if the new Xbox and Playstation will have something similar to this but on a much smaller scale.
