Prince on a star Double Another sounds different from the Single Another version. Not sure of any other songs which do this.
To add on this, apparently a lot of 1st style/substream songs do this - at least Salamander Beat Crush mix, e-motion and ska a go go do.Edit: A few 5-key songs had their titles' capitalizations/genres' names/artists changed when they were moved into IIDX:
SKA a go go was changed into ska a go go;
Deep Clear Eyes' genre DRUM 'N' BASS MIX was changed into AMBIENT;
20,november's artist (n.a.r.d) was changed into dj nagureo

Wee little bump, but for an interesting detail... (plus a new thread felt unnecessary)
It seems within the data for Resort Anthem there is a warning screen as well as an RSA Secure screen that was localized for North and South America.
This would be the first time since DJ TROOPERS since any English translated graphics were left in the data (at least as far as I have heard). Perhaps Konami briefly thought of bringing this game to North America along with X2.

On another note beatmania IIDX 19 Lincle is actually licensed for North America. Actually all the Bemani games at Round1 in California are licensed, but the release is limited to only the two Round1 locations.

Interesting. Maybe one day they may expand farther North :XAnyways, does it display the appropriate licensing information in-game or is it just the legal end of things you were referring to?

I can't really say anything else outside of what I have posted though. That much could have been figured out just by them taking their sweet time getting those games. Bringing those games to Round1 was teased for months. This is also the same reason why Round1 can't own in the groove. Because there is custom song support it looses all its licensing ability, and lets be honest, its impossible to keep those games on anything below R21 without hackers going at them.

. The only game that was modified was GFdmXG (not the XG3 version at the new Round1 either). A majority of that game is in English from what I was told.

Yeah it was, I remember playing it and it was translated pretty well.
Most of the current BEMANI games at Round1 do have the marquee stuff (instructions etc.) translated, but they are rather poorly done.

I guess I'm lucky to be near both locations. Too bad I can't drive, I always ask my brother to take me there.
Oh, so that's why they never added ITG2. Darn, I've always wanted to play custom songs on a machine.

Well, that is news to me. I'm actually not surprised that Round1 (IMO the best arcade chain in Japan) would be able to get these games in America too. I'm surprised that Lincle and some other games have been licensed at all.Quote: Max

And why can't they update all the Bemani games with e-amuse and the latest mixes?

So a small portion of Californians decide whether or not Round1 expands to other states? Okay. :/
Although I feel like only the most densely populated areas have a chance of a Round1 being successful there.
and oh look 200th post

Somewhat, yes.
I wouldn't be worried, I know the City of Industry location has surpassed their initial expectations and has been doing great. I have no idea about the new Moreno location though.

In bm CORE REMIX, it is impossible to access Greed Eater (classic, single) or 2 gorgeous 4 u (classic, double). Trying to do so gives you the opposite song (so one of the songs is select-able twice).
Video showing what I mean:
Also, the leaderboard for the Another^2 course actually spells out "Can you get a star?" (skip to end of video):

Unless I completely missed your point, it's simply because they have never existed. They were introduced in 1st, 2G4U being the BREAK-BTS song in 1P and GE being BREAK-BTS in 2P. There hasn't ever been SP charts for GE or DP charts for 2G4U.Video showing what I mean:

Yeah, it has come to my attention that those charts never existed, thanks. That's probably more interesting than me failing to access them.

Welp, after I first noticed the original versions of the songs in Core remix were playable, I though perhaps they had added in the missing play style charts, but apparently not.
Of course it took an eternity for some old IIDX songs to finally get Another charts.
