On the song, IIDX, you can hear them say, "Don't get bitchslap!"

Also, on the song, "Schlagwerk", you can hear, "This is fucked up!"

IIDX 2nd Style folder is the only folder in HAPPY SKY or above (where the rating got expanded from 1 to 12) not to have a single chart available that is rated 10 or more.

The only song to have its [H] chart rated 12 in SP is Innocent Walls and gigadelic (Seriously, the charts are all ruinous). gigadelic also holds the highest rated [N] chart in DP, rated as a 10.
I'm a DDR player, but never make a AAA.
No, I'm not a IIDX player, but I'm a BMS player.
No, I'm not pnm player, and I haven't play pnm simulator yet.

beatmania was the second Konami game to get a form of "long note". It appeared as a long, green scratch note. To hit it properly, you were supposed to turn the turntable once completely, finishing precisely at the end of the note. Only 7th Mix and The Final supported these notes, and none of the new songs from The Final used them. I don't think beatmania III supported them at all, even for songs that used them in beatmania.

"Gimme a mothaf----n' break!"
It's interesting to note that beatmania has more CS releases than AC releases.

Out of the 12 songs new to beatmania 2ndMIX (although one is just a slight remix of e-motion), Hiroshi Watanabe, who made his BEMANI debut with this game, is responsible for 9 of those tracks.

beatmaniaIII is one of the few BEMANI titles to be arcade exclusive as there are no CS releases of the series. It is also probably the only BEMANI series to have multiple releases, but only showcase new songs into BEMANI in its first release; all subsequent releases were APPEND versions of CORE REMIX, 6thMIX, 7thMIX, and THE FINAL. (beatmaniaIII APPEND CORE REMIX did feature 3 songs from beatmaniaIIDX 3rd Style, but those don't count since they were already introduced in general.)

The final CS releases of beatmania and beatmaniaIIDX are similar in nature.
-5KEY CS: beatmania 6thMIX + CORE REMIX; showcases 2 AC titles in one main game
-IIDX CS: beatmaniaIIDX16 EMPRESS + PREMIUM BEST; showcases EMPRESS and a separate disc with a collection of songs from all previous AC releases.
-And while that is the end for their CS counterparts, there were AC installments after them not turned into CS versions.

- Reo Nagumo was sound director on beatmania, beatmaniaIIDX and beatmaniaIII series.

- Also Reo's birthday is "20, November" (1973).

* "20, november" (1998) was also the release date for DDR Internet Ranking Version (ver 1.5).

- IIDX 1st style AC was released on "20, November" (1999)

---
- "19, November" (the song from good-cool) has not a direct relation with "20, November" The titles for those songs are just similar.

- IIDX 6th style AC was released on "19, November" (2001) and IIDX EMPRESS AC release date was also "19, November" (2008)

- A lot of songs from Reo Nagumo were deleted from EMPRESS AC.

With DistorteD (I think), GOLD, and Troopers CS if you play the revived Beatmania tracks using 5-key on the original chart will display and, if the audio was touched up for the 7k chart, the sfx/bgm will be the original Beatmania ones as well.

Another kind of random observation:

Although Tran probably most known for her role in the Starmine video, she has never been featured in any other accompanying video to a Ryu song even though the Sakura series is a spiritual successor.

Oh, and Scripted Connection⇒Long Mix is the only song thus far that used a secret path in Dan mode to get to. It is also the only song to have 1 difficulty, go over 3 minutes, and only be playable with Dan meter (other special charts like VANESSA were later revived as Black Anothers I believe).

- A lot of BeForU songs were removed from IIDX EMPRESS AC.

That was mainly because of the group split on late 2007.
The group returned with Riyu & Sayaka + new members. NAOKI was not the producer but was involved on the election of these 3 new girls. They left avex are were not part of BEMANI anymore.

- Most of BeForU songs were also removed from other BEMANI games.

- "Silvia Drive" was the only one song from a BeForU member (Noria) that was included on IIDX EMPRESS + PREMIUM BEST.

- "Under the sky" returned to DDR X2 and IIDX Resort Anthem.

Actually, good-cool has stated that he named the song 19, november because he wanted to have the top alphabetic sort spot on the song list and that slot traditionally always went to 20, november. Tongue

That means all Reo's song were removed in DDRX AC, right? (sorry for off-topic)

^ As of DDR X, there are no Reo Nagumo songs in DDR (some of them were removed in SuperNOVA2).

Here's one for you: On beatmania 5th Mix during the attract loop "Can of Ass Kicks" is played during the how to play screen. It is not actually playable in the game however.

There's actually another song that's only in the demo too- Rebel Enforcer.

Both of the songs, along with ALL PRO are on Mix Master Mike's album Anti-Theft Device.

That entire album could be a beatmania game lol.

I don't think beatmania III supported them at all, even for songs that used them in beatmania.

It did actually. I remember seeing them in beatmania III append 7th mix for those few 7th mix songs that supported them.

That C-movie phrase is known for being used in many various L.E.D. songs, in addition to Hydrogen Blueback and maybe some others too.

It is featured on the hard intros of Ghosts 'n Stuff, yes.

"Gimme a mothaf----n' break!"
All songs that are a part of the RENAISSANCE series debuted 4 styles apart from each other.

A - 7th Style
AA- 11 IIDX RED
少年A - 15 DJ TROOPERS
F - 19 Lincle

I've always wondered if this is an intentional trend....so if IIDX 23 becomes a reality and there's a new song called "FF" or some song clearly a part of D.J. Amuro's RENAISSANCE series, I'll be convinced.

1st Style and substream also had intros. They were the same intro though.....but the substream version had a minor difference to it.

The first style to use a Windows XP-based system was 9th style, which also received a noticeable 'upgrade' on graphics. Pretty obscure, huh? (sarcasm radar)

That "this is fucked up!" sound sample in Schlagwerk was from the 1995 movie 'Bad Boys'. And speaking of cursing, Giudecca had "fuck it" sampled several times in the song. I don't know if that's taken from somewhere else, tho.

And if I can recall, 9th Style also had a glitch that wouldn't recognize the input from the keys in some situations.

Speaking of 9th Style key glitches, there apparently was a glitch with General Relativity by SYMPHONIC DEFOGGERS in that style. It is said that the song used the timing windows of the previously played song. That also meant that if you played that song for your first stage, the timing windows would cause you to get nothing but POORs.
