Arcade Database Google Maps .kml is too big

So http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/arcade_locations.kml is apparently far too big to import into the Google Maps website, which is apparently required if I want to use the map offline on my iPod. (I tried to do it and I got a cluster in Fukuoka, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and some of Indonesia. That's it. America, Europe, and my location of interest Korea are completely missing.)

Is there any chance we can download subsets of the database instead of the entire database? (Maybe split by Country?)

Actually it's really strange, trying to import a file from computer fails no matter what, even if the KML file is edited to just a single location. I threw the file on my public Dropbox and told Google Maps to import from there, and it worked.

So yeah, having multiple smaller KML files to import from would be a godsend, instead of manually searching through the 1.5 MB kml and cutting away places you're not anywhere close to...
